JPRO has been working for us for six years, and we trust him with all the jobs in our home. Over the years, he has completed a variety of projects, including redoing our siding, remodeling our patio, regrouting one of our bathrooms, and painting our entire house. In another home, he completely remodeled it from top to bottom and even installed new flooring in our sunroom and did our bathroom. Polite, clean and professional work!

Joel the owner is very honest his price is his price and it is fair, all other contractors wanted to match his price to win the deal. I went with Joel and his brother is the Forman and they were awesome, always on time, clean, polite and the house looks great I would highly recommend these guys. Joel also does other construction and he advised and helped me other project at my house.

Joel and his team were prompt and did an awesome job painting a room for us including trim, ceiling and closets. There was a water issue and they even replaced drywall with water resistant drywall and continue to help diagnose the leak while avoiding tearing apart the roof. Joel is always available and happy to help his customers.

My wife and I bought our dream home and wanted it professionally painted and renovated. We interviewed several companies and chose Smart Brush Painting. Joel, his brother Eduardo, and the rest of the crew came on time, began prepping, and worked quickly and efficiently. They are friendly, accommodating, and very fairly priced. We could not be happier with their work and will not only hire them again, but recommend them to anyone.

I was called quickly to set up an appointment- He kept the appointment and gave us a price. We were given a price and a date was made for the service and he kept the date-did the work and the job was done very well. My husband contacted Smart General Contracting to perform several home improvement projects on the new home we recently purchased. We're so glad he did. Joel and his crew updated our kitchen by installing all new appliances, back splash, quartz counter tops, new light fixtures and much more. Joel helped us design and completely remodel our powder room into a beautiful new full bath. The glass tile and new rainfall shower fixture look absolutely stunning! The new carpet and wood floors they installed throughout our home look fantastic. We are very pleased with the attention to detail of the rooms they painted for us as well. Joel was in constant communication with us regarding the status of our home improvement projects, informing us immediately of any issues that arose. He was also very apt at offering feasible solutions to those issues. We truly appreciate all of the high quality, reasonably priced and professional work performed by Joel and his crew. We love how our new home looks now! We are currently preparing a new list for Smart General Contracting for phase 2 of our home improvement projects.

They have good quality, customer service, and value for money.

I waited to write this review. I didn’t want to write a review angry, however it gets worse every time I look at the kitchen!! If it weren’t for his worker David I would give the owner a 0. Things are coming apart. My hood vent exhaust was tapped to a window in my attic with about 10 feet of piping the cost to fix this problem is approximately $900. Cabinet doors are not leveled which makes the handles look off. There are places where I had put test paint on walls and it still shows through the paint when the sun hits it. I now have bubbling where crown molding was installed. When people come over they point out where the sanding was done bad. I am constantly finding more and more things done incorrectly. The flooring that was installed is sinking and making noise when you walk on it. I hired a contractor because I thought I was going to have someone who was experienced, instead I had someone who complained that I wanted things perfect. YES I wanted things perfect that’s what I paid for otherwise I could have done it myself and screwed it up. HORRIBLE. I beat myself up everyday for paying him the remaining balance but I just wanted him out. If you are looking for a contractor who is never there, measures wrong and tries to cut corners I.e. putting thick pieces of rubber to make doors look even. Then he’s your guy!!

Joel and his crew were extremely professional, reliable, friendly and courteous. His estimate was very reasonable and final price didnt vary. He was always responsive. Whenever we changed our decisions it was never a hassle. They care about their craft so they were clean, punctual, meticulous and even put up with our crazy dog.

Joel and his entire team are very friendly and professional. They showed up on time and tried their very best to accommodate my tight timeline, so I could move in time. I received quotes for interior painting from 3 painting companies and Joel has the most reasonable price. They also delivered quality work. When they are done, they cleaned all the debris. They also helped me did minor renovation of the house, which I am also very satisfied with. Therefore, I hired them again for painting my townhouse which I wanted to have it ready in less than 5 days to go to the market. They finished it on time again and I am so happy with their work. I am definitely going to recommend them to my friends and i will use them again in the future.
