Smart coats installed a half bath for us. The carpenters we are very nice but there were some problems with the project: - some fixtures were breaking the drywall and had to get reinstalled weeks after the project finished - the electrician was lousy. He essentially got rid of our external light switch. We now have step outdoors to turn on the deck lights. He also added two switches for the same hall right next to each other - the project took a whole month longer than promised - the vent fan vented to the attic and now we have mold issues.

Good quality work, and very easy to work with.

You will not find better customer service than Smart Coats. We had a really difficult project on a room and ceiling renovation and they worked incredibly hard to make sure that the job was done correctly and that we were happy. We have used Smart Coats before for painting (which was terrific)- and didn't realize that they did such great construction as well. You will not find another company that will strive to make sure their customers are pleased- I'd definitely hire them again!

For what it’s worth Marcio and his crew where fantastic. They worked very hard and were quite meticulous. When they did the touch up I firmly believe they fixed things I might never have noticed. I was totally astounded when they were cleaning up and swept the dirt near the house to get paint chips!. Marcio is really smart, knows what he is doing and firmly believes (as I do) that the truly only way to do something is the right way and not a short cut.
