Smart Coats is an exceptional company that offers a full range of services from repairs to interior and exterior home structures, to room painting and other projects. Carter Roman was the lead on my home projects and has been in the past. I'm a returning customer because of Carter's professionalism and his attention to detail with his crew, great communication with me on all aspects of improvements including timelines and cost. There were no cost overruns, and the job was delivered on time. It looks fantastic. His crew works diligently and never cuts corners. The cleanup is fastidious. You'd never know they were there except that the job they did looks amazing. I strongly recommend this company

Smart coats installed a half bath for us. The carpenters we are very nice but there were some problems with the project: - some fixtures were breaking the drywall and had to get reinstalled weeks after the project finished - the electrician was lousy. He essentially got rid of our external light switch. We now have step outdoors to turn on the deck lights. He also added two switches for the same hall right next to each other - the project took a whole month longer than promised - the vent fan vented to the attic and now we have mold issues.

You will not find better customer service than Smart Coats. We had a really difficult project on a room and ceiling renovation and they worked incredibly hard to make sure that the job was done correctly and that we were happy. We have used Smart Coats before for painting (which was terrific)- and didn't realize that they did such great construction as well. You will not find another company that will strive to make sure their customers are pleased- I'd definitely hire them again!
