My experience and my personal findings: Not licensed Not trustworthy Not responsible Not experienced Dishonest in both, how he bills and how he runs his business Non-communicative Wrote out a contract and a detailed explanation of what he was allegedly going to accomplish in 4-6 days. He (Travis Carter) collected half the money on the 1st day of the project, spent about 10% of it on material, and did not complete what he was supposed to. He outsourced plumbing work to a 3rd party but never paid them for their work. I took several days off work to babysit and chase him around. 17 days into the disaster, I fired him and asked for a refund because things were either not done, not purchased, or done incorrectly. 90% had to be torn down and redone correctly. He responded, in writing, by telling me that he is not a contractor and then that he had decided to shut down his business and pursue other goals. He also somehow tried to say some things were my fault. Beware! Please stay away!

We were in a time crunch to get this job done. No problem for Travis and the crew at Smarter Home Technologies We really appreciated the cooperation. Good job too.

Both service people were polite, courteous and pleasant. The A/C unit was more expensive than I was expecting. I think a less expensive unit could have been found but I couldnâ t shop and time is costly so I guess it was as good as could be under the circumstances.

He is a knowledgeable electrician. Problem is that there was an extra cost due to the new breaker box needing extra wire and the meter switch was broken during the installation process. He still has not come back to put the door on the box and there are NO labels for the breakers. I have messaged him several times and I have gotten no response. Of course I had already paid him. In my book, that is poor service.

Travis is a great guy. Came same day as requested and gave me information about my situation. Fixed it as well.

Friendly and efficient, only problem was that the technician was suppose to arrive at 8 AM and did not arrive until about 9.
