I believe Casey Smith, smith's construction is a different guy. I think he's out of Anniston. However, if anyone on here used Smiths construction flooring and remodeling out of Heflin , Al and you want to be included in getting this owner held accountable for doing you wrong, then please email me at amychupp87@gmail.com. Anybody that had work not done properly or left unfinished after you paid them money and they blocked you from contacting them , please get in touch with me asap!

Hey noticed people are complaining about Casey smith. Smiths construction is got ripped off buy him and this site may not be his. If you just got ripped off by Casey smith. Casey Smith did not come back to fix a problem with the Siding he put on. Also asked me for donations for his mom's funeral and asked for more money to get him out of a fix. Rip off

This company is a rip off. I hired them to do flooring to which they had me to take out loan and hound me for the money before they started the job, because they needed to buy supplies. They charged for items they didnâ t buy or used, and took majority of wood back with them even though I paid for them. I called several times, text etc to try to get the job completed. I have every texts, call etc. if it will help someone else.The dad (Dana) is a true smartie, when I finally got in contact with him he said they were out of business and hung up to which l found out theyâ re not. He and his son Kyle stopped taking my calls and texts and blocked me, refused to finish job or refund potion of money so I could have someone else complete it. Another thing they didnâ t put anything under the wood or the vinyl planks and a lot of them are coming up. So, potential clients run as fast as you can and if you hire them wait until job is complete before exchanging any money..

Worst customer service I?ve ever experienced. Mr. Smith threatened to put a lien on property if he was paid within 2 hours of completing the job. Even though the job was completed 3 days late. LVT they installed has large gaps and is warped. Never been more disappointed in a job or contractor.

"Wyatt We appreciate your feedback! Please do not forget to inform the community that you purchased the LVT that was 2*x3* that was installed. The concerns with the materials were addressed with your wife and was made well aware of the issues. Number one issue is that the size of the material and un-squareness of your rental. Also we did in fact state we would out a lien on your property due to the fact of you not being present to pay like the contracts states that you signed. Also the project did have an end date of 11th of February however due to the hardwood floor, that we refinished for you, was not dry."

Had my living room floor refinished. They were accommodating with my schedule and fast. My floors were in especially bad shape and what I felt were realistic expectations were far exceeded. I had no idea they could look so good. Excellent work.

Great company that arrived on time/date for estimate, brought appropriate floor samples. Install date ahead of schedule, speedy removal of carpet/pad and install of flooring and quarter round.

The shower floor he laid and built does not slant to drain the water from showering so it pools. He said that is normal. The tile work looks hideous. He left the grout on the tile for us to clean. He left globs of grout in corners. Tiles are coming off of the shower floor and grout was filled it where there should be tile. He admitted that he was In a hurry because it was storming along with some other excuses. Neither he nor the son will fix any of the work and the job we paid them around $5000 to do professionally looks awful and we now have to pay thousands more for an actual pro to come fix.

They kept threatening to add costs to the initial estimates although in the end they charged as stated. They ruined a trash can and a recycling bin ($75) by leaving their toxic products in my recepticles. They seem to have never heard of recycling. The flooring job was fine but I had to repaint many spots on the baseboard. Overall, I'm glad I did it but the experience was not pleasant.

We did explain with the person you left as our contact that there was times that wasn?t moved as the agreement and was approved per the contact person for extra charges. Let?s not mention the fact we drove back to your house to move furniture in two rooms 6 inches, then to be threatened on our end that if we didn?t take the extra cost that you would put us on the DO NOT WORK LIST in your subdivision."
