They responded immediately, diagnosed our situation accurately, rectified it to our complete satisfaction and are now servicing us monthly.

Insignia/Smith Pools began servicing our pool last July. Everything was fine until we had electronics installed Thanksgiving week. Then, the maintenance technician would frequently leave it in "service mode". After the 4th time that occurred, I called and requested that no longer occur. Unfortunately two of the times that happened, we were out of town and the pool pump either ran unnecessarily or did not run at all. The week following the phone call, it occurred again. That evening (Thursday), my husband went out to take it out of service mode when he noticed that the safety fence was not replaced. It was disconnected from the end (as opposed to where they usually did it) and did not reconnect it. We were stunned, and quite frankly, thankful he left it in service mode. Otherwise, we would not have noticed that the fence was not reconnected. Also, grateful that I was sick that day, and therefore, my parents had our 2 year old for the day. Because of the beautiful weather, we have had our doors open all day. He could have easily been harmed by that potentially fatal error. I would not have noticed that it was disconnected given where it was disconnected from. I called Smith Pools' owner Rod, on his cell phone, left a message on Friday morning. No response. I called Pat, another Owner/Manager and left a message on his cell phone. No response. Then I called the office and left a message with the Receptionist that answered the phone. I explained to her what happened and told her I would like a call back. Today is Tuesday. I still have not heard back from any of them. I cancelled my service with them when I spoke with her on Friday. There should be ZERO TOLERANCE for this type of oversight. Obviously, we weren't that bothered with the "service mode" issue given that we didn't call until after the 4th occurrence. However, the fact that it occurred at the next maintenance visit AND the baby safety fence was not replaced - is beyond negligent. I would not have posted this had they just called me back and explained how they would correct this error. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY FOR MAINTENANCE. Previous review when hired: The customer service and knowledge-base has been fantastic so far. I hired Insignia for the initial treatment and continued maintenance of our pool, as well as converting to salt water. They've been wonderful.

Patrick Madigan is the kind of man you can count on to do what he says he's going to do, whether you're there looking over his shoulder or not.

The owner came to my house and he explained so many things about my pool that I didn't know. He did a very good job and he is one of the best contractors that I've ever met. He was very fast and I learned a lot from him and he was very reasonable and had great value. A different company has been taking care of my pool, but these guys are way better and I would highly recommend them!

They called me immediately for information on pool services. They came out to look at the pool to complete the estimate. We needed our filter changed and Patrick explained everything very easily for me to understand. Our pool looks great and they are doing a wonderful job with our service. We couldn't be happier and plan to be long time customers.

Called for an estimate on weekly pool maintenance. The company got back to me within an hour with an estimate. I decided to hire them. They came out within 2 days to start weekly maintenance. So far everything is going great!

They were very helpful. They gave me a lot of information and educated me on pool service so that I can do the work myself without pressure to hire them. I took their advise and used the information for several months. When it was time to replace my entire pump process, I hired them and the work was fast and perfectly done! My pool looks great.

The gentleman performing my service took his time and addressed all of my concerns with the pool and my equipment.
