It might corny but it is true - when you deal with Smithstonian, you are treated like family. Steve and Derick helped us turn an old garage/boathouse into a unique, cozy, rustic cottage (see photo above!). Although this company specializes in, and are total artists in stone masonry, our project was a major renovation that required all construction skills; carpentry, electrical, plumbing, framing, HVAC work, concrete, roofing, sheet metal work, and demolition. Smithstonian can bring all professional skills to bear and offer a turnkey project that didn't require me to increase my budget and hire multiple subcontractors. If any questions or issues arose, Smithstonian went above and beyond to ensure they were addressed immediately, even coming to our house after hours to meet with us face-to-face. Not only are we extremely pleased with the final results of all the work done, but we are also excited to have found a reputable, respectful, and trustworthy company to partner with in the future. Steve quickly becomes more than a construction partner, he becomes a trusted friend that has your best interest at heart.

Having a professional like Steve Smith to work with was best experience I've ever had with a contractor. His experience and work ethic are second to none, and he is definitely a Master Mason. He did one of the best stone works for my walkways, and so say my neighbors also! You can't miss with hiring SmithStonian!

Mr. Smith did an amazing job power washing and cleaning my deck. When he finished it looked brand new and if it had just been built. He was extremely friendly and professional. I spoke to Mr. Smith on a Tuesday morning and he was at my house that same afternoon to look at the job and quote a price. The work was completed on Thursday of the same week.
