Had my drive way done with Smith Paving before 6 months it was cracked took them 4 or 5 months to come fix it and then there repair looks like crap they also coated it when they came but since that there are other damage and does not answer calls I got tired of fooling with them but I would not refer them to anyone. Price was right but now I know why..

From start to finish using Smith Paving was a great experience. The owner, Russell Smith, provided a quote quicker than the others we contacted. He provided addresses where he had done other new asphalt driveways so we could observe his completed projects. His quote was competitive. He answered our questions and communicated with us in a timely manner. When we made the decision to use his company he booked our job and completed the work in just a few weeks. We are thrilled with the finished project! It's hard to find businessmen who follow through with communication and honor their commitments these days but Russell Smith sure did. Russ Smith came in with a great price, great communication, and great work. Foreman Jame was a great guy, who understood the tricky waterflow off our drive, and got it just right. The whole team were efficient pros. I would not hesitate to recommended them to anybody.

I had my blacktop driveway torn out and replaced. The work was completed on time and the driveway looks great. The communication could not have been better. I knew what was happening and when, every step of the way. Russell Smith Paving did everything they said they would do at the price they quoted. Quality work at a great price!

I hired Russ here in Mason/Lebanon Ohio, he is a snow bird. He goes to Florida in the winter months of here and then returns home in our summers. He services both states. I hired him to do our black top driveway and replace our culvert pipe. He did NOT get a permit as needed to replace the culvert and he back filled it with dirt and rocks. During a rain storm the pipe stood straight up in the air since it was not done correcly, the township came by and dumped boulders on it to keep the pipe down. Shortly after the work , grass is growing in the black top, spots have sunk in, cracks all over it as well as holes. This is a pour job by him and his team. Since doing the work i have reached out and was told to F***ING take me to court. Which i have done and won. Our last hearing he did not show up for and now has a warrant for his arrest in Ohio.

Russell came out the same day we called for a quote. Professional and fair. They were able to fit us in same week for a 700 sq ft driveway expansion. His crew showed up on time and ready to work. The job was completed and they were cleaned up a little after lunch. Would definitely use again.

Russell and team did a great job. You could tell his experience watching foreman James drive the Bobcat. Dave, James Jr., Carla, and Mark were all working in unison as if they knew each others next step. They were very pleasant in talking making the hard work a breeze. The drive looks great.

They ripped out my existing driveway, and added to it. Great crew, James answered all my questions and went thru the entire job at the beginning to make sure we were on the same page. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their driveway done. Thanks Russ, James, and crew!!!!
