They need everything in a box (which is understandable)and want to charge you $40 per box they provide. Boxes were then partcially packed so they can charge you more. Missing items, damaged items on delivery. My new vacuum was used came full of dirt and sand. I was given different information by different people every time I spoke with someone on the phone, even Tanya the dispatch girl couldn't keep her story straight. E-mails and phone calls are not returned by sales staff after you pay your deposit. Took 2 weeks to get my stuff when it was only a 17hr drive. They cannot give you a straight answer on day and time of your pick up and delivery. Then they call you 20min out an expect you to drop everything your doing to go meet them. My things showed up on a different truck with a different companys logo on it. The guys were not the ones who packed my things so they had no idea where the stuff was to reassemble my furniture that was taken apart. I do not trust this company.

A lot of my belongings we’re stolen before they reached me. All of my boxes were ripped open and re taped. They moved my price from $3200 to $8000.00, I am very hurt and mistrusting now.

Just an absolutely fantastic job. I'm so happy the move went so well for us. I was feeling good about them from the beginning and can't express how pleased I am with the move. Such polite and great people it made the whole move process so much better than I could of hoped for. Thanks again to everyone at Smooth and a heartfelt thanks to billy for the awesome job done.

First time using a mover. I was planning on doing the move myself but decided to try out some movers to compare prices. After doing some research since again this is my first time moving, I decided to use Smooth Relocation. The move was great and I wish I used movers in the past since I don't like heavy labor and it was soooo worth it!!!

I heard alot of good things about them after seeing their trucks in the area moving my neighbors

This company never came out to my home to complete a thorough walk through. They only went off the items I gave them via phone. I kept asking for a walk through and they said they didn't need one. I was told they would pack up everything and provide me with my own 20ft trailer. I told them that was too small and the representative said that the bigger trailer would come later. The 20ft just carried supplies. Although I was very skeptical, with the entire process, I went ahead and paid the deposit because for the price I thought... "if they pull this off that would be amazing!' Well the foreman for the packing crew arrived and he looked around my home. His first words were, "we can't do all this in one day and we don't have the space on our truck." I was livid!!! I contacted the company rep and asked them what my options were. The company suggested I either cancel my request or pay for additional trucks!!!! The day before my deadline to move out!!!!!????!!! Again, livid! So I said, I refuse to pay your more when I specifically asked for a walkthroigh or inspection and it was never completed. The rep said he would go ahead and cancel the request. Keep in mind, my contract stated I would receive a full refund of my deposit if the request was canceled. The company refused to give me 100% of my refund. I will NEVER do business with these guys ever again! They are sneaky and manipulative with verbiage! The lesson learned was that if a moving company ever gives you a quote and contract WITHOUT viewing your household goods, RUN!!!!!

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I could have hired a U-Haul for 1/2 the price and a better experience. The delivery was supposed to include 3 days notice; I received notice on a Friday that delivery would happen on a Sunday or Monday - and then the driver showed up on a Saturday, with no one to help him unload the truck. Additionally, he did not perform an inventory and tried to deliver items associated with another delivery, so I ended up having to do my own inventory. Customer service was initially verbally sympathetic, but in the end only offered a $150 refund on a $3200+ move for the inconvenience of a super-long and early delivery. Additionally, the driver tried to talk me out of calling customer service, and when I did, they would not process the refund without additional confirmation that nothing was broken, leading to additional expense and inconvenience on my part. And to top it all off, the guy who had led the team that had packed up my stuff at the other end of my move texted me just a few hours after my last wasted call to their customer service department, and his text said "Hi sweetie." (I obviously blocked him immediately to prevent further communication. That text was AT BEST unprofessional, and quite honestly, more than a little scary.) I cannot recommend highly enough that you NOT hire this company. Everyone I interacted with who works for them, especially in their sales department, is super-nice, but this company was the WORST possible choice for a long-distance move.

They picked up & delivered when scheduled. Nothing was broken and no hidden charges.

They came exactly on my time and that usually doesn't happen. They did their best with my move. I only have good things to say about this company. During the sales process, they could have explained it all a little more. I would certainly use them again for a future move.

I had to use Smooth Relocation Vanlines for my move last week to Florida. From the minute we began working with Smooth Relocation, they were professional, courteous, adaptable and easy to deal with. We were pleased with their quote, it was quite reasonable. The actual moving process was amazingly fast and smooth. The crews were quicker than we thought, as timely as they promised, friendlier than some of our friends, and more diligent than any moving crew I've observed. As a result we have experienced a completely stress-free move and received all my stuffs intact! I would definitely recommend them without any hesitation to anybody I know. Great job well done guys

They damaged several valuable items including a solid oak and cherry coffee table. It arrived with legs, sides and drawers ripped off. All the pieces were neatly gathered and shrink wrapped together. They arrived at my new address two days late with no phone call or explanation. They moved items that they were told to leave and left items that they w ere told to move. They handled items marked fragile like basketballs. they offered me $40.00 in compensation for thousands in damaged items. A total nightmare from start to end
