The crew did a great job. I do not know anything about foundation repair and concrete. William and the crew were very knowledgeable and explained everything where a little old lady could understand. They even saved a chipmunk burrow for me.

Michael here, Dec 16 thru 19 2024 The Smouse Bros Replaced the sump pump, installed a vapor barrier, leveled the house, repaired some structural damage among other things. The Guys were friendly, hard working and informed us of every step in the repair. I was 100% satisfied.

We had new support beams installed under our house and floors were leveled. We are very happy with the work that was done. Josh and Evan were very friendly and professional. We will highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of repair done.

Great pricing. Didn't sell you things you don't need. Hard working, on time, courteous employees. Tens of thousands of dollars savings compared to other foundation repair companies in the area.

Smouse Brothers did a wonderful job on taking care of the moisture in my crawl space!!! First they handled their bid to do the job in a first class way by itemizing their bid( none of the other companies that bid would itemize) giving me examples of the bare minimum that had to be done, what they thought needed to be done and then what additional things that could be done for extra protectionâ ¦ When the bid came in I was overjoyed to find the difference was so large between them and the other companies and that combined with the fact that they were a local family owned business really sealed the deal!!! When they started the job on time and I met their on site coordinator Kristan, I knew I was in good hands as it was obvious that this was not his first rodeoâ ¦ He led me through the job in a near painless fashion from start to finish and explained each step along the wayâ ¦ After the job was finished and they had cleaned up in my yard around the job site, he was available to answer any additional questions and help interpret the photos that Smouse brothers provided of the work they did under my house from start to finishâ ¦ I canâ t say enough about the quality of the work that Smouse Brothers and Kristan provided and I would recommend them highly to anyone who has water or moisture issuesâ ¦

They came when they said they would. Fast and clean work, no dirt or debris left behing. The billed amount was as quoted. They initially forgot to countersink the screws on a stud they had to take off and put back to get to the crack they fixed. They were at a different site when I called and said that it would take them a couple of hours to get back to fix it. And they came by within a couple of hours and fixed it without asking any questions. And I could get the paneling back on. I am very happy with the work they did, the service and the price. These are the guys to call when you have problems with the foundation.

Jess came out the same day I requested help and had the repairs done within a week after giving me quote.

Reviews look great. Sadly my experience with this company is not what others who have reviewed experienced or they simply did not inspect the work performed or maybe was not able to. Maybe false reviews whatever it might be definitely different experience for me. First I want to say Jess does talk a very good game. Seemed very knowledgeable. I do believe he knows what needs to be done but falls short on the follow through and the people and equipment to preform the job. I do not believe 19 years is accurate and recommend others to look into. Just because you work in a field from a young kid does not mean you have ran a business for 19 years. I was quoted and explained what was going to be done to fix the issues under the home. They were supposed to bring in equipment to dig out trenches to lay pipe for sump pumps and crawls space door. They were to replace girders and floor joist where needed, remove bad girders, joist and debris under home and level home. Install sump pumps and lay plastics down. All sounded and looked good on paper. Very professional at this point. They were not the cheapest quote I received but felt you get what you pay for and Jess seemed very knowledgeable. I am still taken back how my house was left in worse condition and required more repairs by the time the Smouse Brothers were done. My home was raised off its foundation with floors bowing and doors not shutting and was left this way for us to come home to. When inspecting what was going on I found that a 4x4 block of wood was holding up a portion of my house. I was able to see into my Crawlspace from outside. My floors bow in some areas and dip in others. I am told this may never be fixed unless I completely replace my subfloors and flooring. Equipment was not brought until I questioned it. I was informed it was cheaper for them to dig by hand then use equipment. Which equipment was what I was paying for so I assumed. Plastic was put down over debris. Guirters were installed not level or kicked sideways. I do have photo proof of all damages. When calling and very concerned as any home owners would be I was made to feel as I was difficult and I should not be questioning any of it. I was given a refund so I do have to give them that. The principle of the matter is if you want a good spoken person and a lackluster job that will need to be redone and a home in worse condition then these are your guys. If you want the job done correctly with less headaches go with someone else!! I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. Good luck to anyone who is experiencing Crawlspace issues as it truly is one of the worse home owners Nightmares and should not be made worse by Companies as such.

They provided a prompt estimate and certificates of liability and work comp insurance before work was started. Answered any questions I had. Work was finished quickly and cleaned up before leaving. They really wanted to make sure we we're completely satisfied. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others or hire them again. Top notch!

Did an EXCELLENT job. Started on schedule and finished on schedule. Did everything necessary to correct the water problems. Working conditions were very uncomfortable as work took two week in a crawl space in a muddy mess with mold and rot. Thanks a lot!!!!!

Smouse installed a drain tile. So the true test will be when we have next huge rain storm. They competed the job on time and on budget.
