Communication is non-existent. Disappeared for days because took on other jobs apparently more important than our floor. Delayed our move-in. Refinishing took weeks instead of days. According to them, their machine was malfunctioning, leaving our floor with many divots and a few gouges which Taylor has not returned to fix like he said he would. Their machine, according to them, also rattled loose the flooring, which they also have not repaired as they said they would. The floor is basically destroyed and needs completely redone. Another professional who observed their work said we had lost 10 years off the floor and only had one more sanding before having to replace the floor--and this on virgin 1/2 inch oak flooring! Wish I had never hired Taylor Harris and SoCal Flooring! I had other bids that were close, but took a chance on him because he appeared hungry for the job since it was Christmas time. Don't make the same mistake as I did by hiring this company!

I am very happy with the work that Taylor did on my floors. They really do look like new again. I saved a lot of money by going with So Cal flooring and I don't feel like I sacrificed quality at all. There were a few spots that needed to be touched up after the final coat of finish was applied and Taylor made time to come back right away and take care of it. I highly recommend So Cal Flooring and will hire them again for future projects.

Taylor was excellent to work with and did a great job on our sand, stain, and refinish project. He presented several options to help us pick a stain color, and his knowledge of different product lines allowed us to go darker than the dura-seal stain options. He worked quickly and cleanly, keeping dust to a minimum. He was also very careful not to spread the messes around our house and he even wiped down our counters. We would definitely work with him again in the future and would recommend him to our friends and family.

Taylor was reliable, dependable, with quality workmanship. We needed floors rebuilt, and refinished and they look stunning. Taylor had good recommendations on stain color - based on our home / decor - he knows his craft. His price was fair and he was able to work with us on our timeline as we needed our kitchen back before the holidays. We would highly recommend So Cal Flooring.

5 Stars! We have red oak floors that had been beat up over the last 17 years. Taylor gave us a great price and was so thorough- we are so pleased with his work. On the first day , they sanded down the floors. Next they applied a wood filler and spread it over the whole floor to fill any gaps (which I had). They also took out 15 square feet of tile by my back door, which was ugly. They matched the wood perfectly and "threaded" it in amazingly, you can't even tell that it was replaced! They then sanded it again. On the second day, I was very picky about the color and he made a custom blend of dark walnut and antique brown Duraseal stain colors (he left some for me in case i'll want it in the future). They then stained the floor and put the first coat of satin poly. On the third and final day they buffed down the first coat of poly, so it would bond well to the last coat. Taylor was alway where he said he would be. He is honest and I would totally recommend him to my friends and I already did to my neighbor looking to install wood floors.
