Professional (salt) water softener installation and RO system under the kitchen sink. No more calcification and hard water. RO was a game changer. Tastes great and no more Brita or bottled water. Don't need to change filters very often at all, every 2 years if that. TDS meter helps to know when to change. No real maintenance and we only had an issue 5 years down the road with the pellets in the tank, which needed to be replaced to continue the ionization process that removes the calcium from the city water. Good, local company, responsive.

Great service and professional

The installation technician, Danny, showed up on time and was extremely professional and friendly. He installed a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink with a brushed nickel faucet beautifully mounted on our granite counter top, as well as a whole house water filter and softening system in the garage. His workmanship was terrific and the system works great, we couldn't be happier!

I took away a half star due to the two day install. They said one day. They sent only one installer out initially. Had to come back the following day to finish up with three installers. The system appears to work fine, it's still new, and both the outside and inside work areas were left in clean.

Very good company to do business with. Fairly expensive. Only had to replace existing softener, so not much plumbing to do. $1800 for whole deal, but parts could be had online for less than $700. That is a lot of labor cost. Missed a water leak in new coupling that they installed, but I caught it before they left. On balance, would use them again.

So Cal Water was the first call we got about our project. It only took them about 5 mins. to call! They estimated that it would only take an hour to install our reverse osmosis system and quoted a fair price on the phone, so we hired them. A problem did occur when the plumber did NOT show up during the agreed window of time, and it took a call to the office to find out that he was running about an hour late. We were given the option of rescheduling, but the later time was not a problem for us. When he did arrive, he was polite and efficient and completed the job in LESS time than was quoted, so charged us accordingly. So overall, this was a good experience.

I had a whole house water softener installed and I am extremely happy with the entire experience. Scott gave me a great price, half of what Culligan charged me. The installers, Brian and Thomas did an outstanding job with the install. They hid the pipes neatly and were very careful and respectful of my home. They explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. This is a great company to work with!

Had full house softening and RO installed. Scott was awesome, and installer Brian was great too. Didn't get any of this sales nonsense. Scott just came over, laid out all the information, and then left us be to make a decision. He didn't hound us for a decision, nor pressure us into anything on the day. He let his fantastic pricing and personable nature do the talking. Because of all this, he didn't waste any time either. Took him like 15 minutes, and it wasn't a sales pitch or presentation, just an explanation of what they do and how much it costs, then he was on his way. I scheduled a second quote from EcoWater, and within 2 minutes of that appointment I knew I was going with Scott and So Cal Water. EcoWater was all sales-y, followed by the total lie of "there's noone cheaper than EcoWater" -- Scott was less than half the price for better results (higher capacity resin tank, higher flow rate system)! I scheduled installation (was able to get an appointment less than a week later), and on the day it took about 4 hours for softening and RO. Brian did the install, and he was great too. Walked me through everything, made sure I understood how it all worked, and confirmed details before beginning the installation. You won't regret using So Cal Water.

They are good

So Cal Water was the first to contact me regarding my request. I contacted other service providers too but So Cal water was the least expensive and sounds professional. So I chose them to replace the resin in my water softener. The work was well done. Scott showed up at 1pm and in one hour he was finished. Not only did he do the work, but he showed me around how my water softener works. I would not hesitate to hire them again for my other projects, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.
