What a terrible experience. It took them 9 months to do the promised work. Many times they said they would be there the next day and never showed up or called. Months of calling and emailing with no response. When I did speak to our project manager, he yelled at me about how busy he was. They did not show until my realtor, who had recommended them, called. The foundation work seems fine, but they broke my front porch while doing it. They just left it broken and never fixed it. They never called to ask about how the work went. While they were the cheapest option, I wish we had paid more and avoided the stress.

I?m extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I scheduled an inspection and was assured that I would receive a report of the preliminary findings from the first visit, along with a proposal for any additional testing that might be needed. Despite those assurances, I never received either document. I was also charged $$$ for the initial visit. When I booked the appointment, I made it very clear that I would not agree to that kind of fee for a simple walkthrough of my property. Had I known that no meaningful work or deliverables would be provided, I would never have agreed to the charge. Since then, the contractor has been completely unresponsive?no report, no proposal, and no communication of any kind. The lack of follow?through, the questionable billing practices, and the failure to provide the services they represented make this a deeply frustrating experience. I would strongly caution others to think twice before using this company.

PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, PROFICIENT & PERFECT!!!! We hired Soil & Structure Consulting to help us remediate the Trusses that were cut by a handyman many years ago. We needed a competent and professional company to handle this critical fix as we are selling the house and this fix is required by the buyer. Our Structure Engineer, Santosh arrived promptly, and came with a smile - that alone made us felt at-ease. He inspected everything, explained everything that needed to be fixed, provided us a viable solution, and drew all appropriate structure drawings and calculations - all that without creating additional panic (we didn't need any more of that), and with total professional attitude. We are totally impressed with Santosh and Soil & Structure Consulting Inc. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for a competent and a reasonable priced professional company. I use this company on all of my custom homes and renovations. Only engineering company we feel comfortable with in all situations and projects. Excellent work. Extremely professional.

Great company! Quick and responsive.

They contacted me quickly and came over the next day. I pad them $525 for the report but I never received the report. I contacted them about a week late and was told it would come but here we are and no report. Waste of money. Did not have time to wait, so we had to change our plans and leave the support post we wanted to remove.

I paid for a writen report and still have seen it almost 4 weeks have passed.

Amol (Andy) Fulambarkar, P.E. came to my house, 6/22/18, 35 minutes late, but he called, so that was not a problem. He walked interior throughout my house with a camera, no tools or anything else. I was with him but he said he would not tell me anything until he's finished everything at end of visit. He took photos. At end he talked with me for about 10 minutes & because of accent and technical language, I had difficult understanding. I inquired how he knew that my floor was with a certain support & type, he said he just knew. He told me he has a sister company that could fix my floor for $8,000. I asked him several questions & he responded briefly & said that floor met minimum business standards, soft floor or hard floor. He said written report cost $75, gave him $425 for total visit, he cashed the check next day. I have not received a report, I sent email, no response, calls not answered, nothing at all! This man is a fraud & Home Advisor should take him off recommendation list, HA is guilty because they keep listing him in spite of negative reports.

Do not, under any circumstances, do business with this company. It took over a month to receive my structural report and I only received it after two e-mails and several un-returned calls. Upon receiving the report I realized that I did not receive the certification that I had been promised AND BILLED FOR. I requested a refund of the fee that I had been fraudulently charged. It has now been almost ANOTHER MONTH and I still have not received my refund. The most recent response from Soil and Structure is that "they are not interested in discussing it further."

Horrible Experience - Started out well and scheduling the engineer to come onsite was easy. However after the engineer came onsite on 1/31, he stated he would have the report to us the following week. Week came and went, no report. Emailed to get a status, No response. Emailed and called again, left message, no response. Rinse and repeat for several weeks until the main office finally gave me the engineers personal cell phone to get a status. Engineer finally responded and stated it would be a few days more and that he's been sick and was very behind on the reports(Mind you this was already a month after he stated it would be completed with ZERO communication from him - I would expect a professional to at least let his customer know that they were behind and would be getting the report out as soon as possible). Another week went by. Tried calling the cell, no answer, left multiple messages. Another week went by, Called main office, engineer was in the office and I was able to speak with him. He stated his subordinate would get the report out that day and they would be issuing a partial refund for the extreme delay. The Engineer's subordinate did get the report out, but it was not what was expected or discussed. Engineer and I discussed several potential issues while he was onsite, but none of those were included in the report like he stated they would be. All the report stated was no immediate concerns, monitor for 6 months to determine if it gets worse. I wrote both the engineer and the subordinate back asking them about those issues and why they were not in the report and what recommendation they suggested for them. No response from them again. It's been a month since they promised the partial refund and I have yet to receive it nor have I received the response about the concerns from the missing issues on the report. Total of 2 1/2 months to receive a sub-par report and zero communication from them unless i initiated it and was lucky enough to catch them in the office. I would never use this company again and would highly recommend NOT using this company for your Structural Engineering needs. I don't give bad reviews, but since they have yet to respond to my concerns and failed to issue the partial refund they promised, I'm forced to give this review to ensure other's looking for a Structural engineering service don't have the headaches I've had to experience. This experience has been the worse I've ever had dealing with a professional company.

I had a terrible experience with Soil and Structure. After five weeks of never receiving a structural report after the inspection, I finally got our money back but only after having to call the office no less than a dozen times and many more emails. This 1.5 months of being ignored really impacted our renovation timeline as we were hoping to have the work done before moving in. We never did get a structural report in the end.

The project was top notch. We got the results that we were looking for which in a timely manner.

Andy and Santosh were very cooperative and finished the project in a timely fashion.

THIS WAS THE RESULT OF A CAR ACCIDENT THAT WAS THREATENING THE INTEGRITY OF THE BUILDING SO I NEEDED SOMEONE QUICKLY , THEY REARRANGED THE SCHEDULE TO HAVE SOMEONE THERE THE NEXT DAY! FAST TURN AROUND FOR THE REPORT AND THE CLIENT WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE THE INSURANCE PAYMENT!

Andy was great. Had a slight scheduling snafu, but he was in communication before it became a problem. We were able to reschedule our appointment for the same day. His report was on time, and he promptly cashed my check, which I appreciate. Overall a great experience.

As a real estate agent, I rely heavily on other professionals to help me in my business. I rely on team work for OUR client. Ken from S & S was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our client lives out of state so it was a unique situation but one Ken handled well. They are very good at what they do and they more importantly diagnose the problem correctly without trumping up the charges!!! Believe me as I had 3 different contractors look at this property and one company doubled the charge. The other company completely misdiagnosed the problem. They actually said the slab had "sunk" on the sides when in fact the slab had buckled UP in the middle. I am no engineer but their credibility went out the door with that story. S & S was also actually referred to me from another agent as that agent too needed a good quality and honest company that did a foundation repair for the client. Without question do I recommend this company. Five stars for service, professionalism, timeliness and for great communication.

Although they were professional and knew their business, the report that was to be delivered within a week has yet to be received over three weeks after the evaluation was performed. They took the check for their service immediately. The report is an important part of teh service I wanted so that we can discuss the issue with the contractor that caused it.

Responded promptly, conducted survey efficiently and courteously, submitted a report in a timely manner. Very satisfied with results.
