Solar Is Freedom

Work was done very well.

The did not get a permit for the main service panel. It was installed incorrectly and had to be replaced.

am getting charged twice. Once from duke and once from solar is Freedom. Solar is freedom (Greg) will not return my emails and I am tired of paying twice once to the duke and once to solar is freedom. I had 300 hours net on my first bill but magically went away and was replaced with 100 hours which magically went away. Now that I am not net negative duke charged me. Solar is freedom was obligated to help me out with the net metering; thus far they have not. I have no chance but to ruin their rating and look into other means as I have a copy of the contract. It m the end I just want my credits to go for months to months so I can grow them come winter time I wont be able to afford my house come winter. Right now I have zero net metering hours. It is been hot and I should have well over 700 hours netted going into winter. Please help me out and I would be happy to remove my review. Philip Lucas

We love our new solar panels. We are saving on our electric bill and Solar is Freedom was great to work with. They installed our system in just a few hours and it works great.

The entire process with SIF was smooth and straight forward. The office staff was excellent to interact with over the phone. As said by other reviewers, they handled all the necessary paperwork and kept me informed on the progress. They are more interested in giving you an efficient panel system that will work with your conditions than giving you something to show off and "keep up with the Jones" like some other companies I got bids from. On the day of the install, the workers were nice and efficient and understood one of my requests and followed it. They had my 29 panel system installed and running in about 5 hours. The only hiccup I ran into for the whole process was the remote monitoring access and once I realized there was an issue at my end with it and let them know, it was fixed in 24 hours.

Solar is freedom made the entire process simple & trouble free ! They took care of all the paperwork and permits...all I had to do was sit back & relax ! Looking forward to many years of solar power !

Very bad company. Almost 1 year ago we got offer for solar batteries installation. We didnt have huge bills at this time, but Jan (rep) promised us, that we will no longer be pay anything. Batteries were installed on August and from this time our bills were sometimes even more, than year before. And we have to pay also for batteries since this time. Jan blame us that we are working from home and using more electricity. But not me, not my husband didnt work even day from home. Jan said, that it is short days. Ok. We got April bill. Last year we paid $38.92 and this year we paid $38.64. Plus batteries payment. People, think twice before installation. I am a real person, can send anybody our bills. Jan doesnt respond on phone calls at all. My email nfutor7@gmail.com

Awesome company super excited to have solar is a part of our main source of power. I vetted many solar companies and these guys are by far one of the best in the industry. I highly recommend going with them as even if there are mistakes along the way they are willing to jump through hoops to get them corrected. Good job solar is freedom keep up the phenomenal work!!!

Solar is Freedom is every home ownerâ s dream come true. We received our install back in July and it has been such a neat experience. Not only do they look great and are a head turner amongst our neighbors but breaking the numbers down, they just made sense. We are projected to save minimum 90k over the next 25 financed year. Our only complaint with our experience is that Duke Energy is slow with recognizing the interconnection agreement for net metering but that is by no means attributed to Solar is Freedomâ s fault. All the more reason to leave Duke Energy and pursue the road of owning your own energy. Solar is Freedom is one of the most responsive and genuine companies I have begun to build my relationship with as a homeowner. More companies should model their customer experience like this.

Entire process was simple. From financing to installation to Agreement with DP&L every step was verified and that I was satisfied.

I researched six solar companies and finally selected Solar is Freedom due to their price, technical knowledge, and helpful approach. The project leader, Brian Bohus, did a fantastic job from start to finish and made it all an easy process. They organized everything â getting the HOA approval, getting the City of Westerville permits and net metering, and final approvals. The installation was completed in less than 6 hours. (29 panels) Look forward to man years of energy savings. I would highly recommend Solar is Freedom.

Karim Kimble was our guy. He helped us as best he could. We had 27 panels installed. And yes, our electric bill has gone down.
