Solar Is Hot
About us
Here at Solar Is Hot, we believe that the use of solar energy to heat swimming pools is a very simple concept. Using the existing pool pump, the pool water is merely diverted after the filter to an array of solar collectors and then returned to the pool's normal circulation line. Even though most systems are roof mounted, they can also be mounted on frames on the ground. The size of the system depends on: the size of the pool, whether the pool gets direct sun, how much sun the roof gets, whether or not a pool blanket is used, and what the pool owner wants to accomplish. In the Northeast U.S., between 50% and 75% of the pool surface area is considered standard. Our company can be reached by phone or by completing a request for service. Please join us in the solar movement. We would be very happy to talk about your solar pool heating or solar domestic hot water needs with you.
