I am changing this from 5 stars to less than 1. When Anthony came and sold us these solar panels he lied to us. Said federal credit was 25%, that weâ d get about $10,000 back on our first tax return after buying. That if we paid that to Sunlight Financial by the 17th payment our payment would stay $162 a month, but if not then $221.83/month. We DIDNT WANT THAT as we live on social security disability and weâ re trying to reduce our bills. Between connection fee and increased payment we are paying MORE than we were before the panels! Our worst fear. I believe he knew we wouldnâ t save money.we actually voiced our concerns and he talked us into it. The tax accountant was angry when I told her what they said. Said she hears these kinds of lies from solar companies regularly and that it doesnâ t work the way they tell people! It reduces your tax obligation. Especially for someone as poor as me who doesnâ t have much to claim(my boyfriend hasnâ t been required to do a tax return for 8 years!) I might get no benefit or itâ ll take years to claim a little each year. So we didnâ t get money back, couldnâ t make the $10k payment and our bill went up. Also, the electric company charges $41/month just for the connection. We live in Florida and have had even summer months charge extra and we are not wasters! I have incredible remorse at buying Solar and would warn people to be extremely careful, do tons of research, ask many questions and READ EVERY WORD OF YOUR CONTRACT. Nature Coast Solarâ s owner, Humberto, basically called me a liar re Anthonyâ s lies. Believes him and did NOTHING for us! Not sure why Solar not holding us and now worthless to call them to come check our system. Iâ d have these pulled off if I could, but I think Iâ d still owe Sunlight Financial and theyâ d probably charge me to take off. In my reading this week check your contract re selling your home or paying towards principal too. People are suing over that as well. Thereâ s a huge Minnesota attorney general lawsuit with my and more complaints against Sunlight financial and some MN Solar companies. I am researching Florida cases. UPDATE 2/28/24: Sunlight Financial had Nature Coast Solar put a lock on my solar box outside my house for my arrears. I paid the balance within 12 hours of seeing the lock. 16 days later and 5 calls to sunlight before they finally told me theyâ d been sending messages to Nature Coast telling them to take off the lock with no response or action. I called and spoke to Dawn who said the owner Humberto would call me. >24 hours later and still no call. Iâ ve left two messages since thenâ ¦.crickets. Beware people.

Small owner operated business. I have used 2 times for repair in 2 1/2 years and both time quickly scheduled a visit and spoke to the owner, Burt, who answered my questions same day that I called. Techs are polite and knowledgeable I would only use this company for my solar hot water system needs.

I was not told what the parts and labor would be before the work was done. The service fee of $99 is high! I don't know what was done to inspect the system! My appointment window was 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. A text was sent 8:30 to let me know they would be at my home in 10- minutes. 1 1/2 hours early. Overkill for being on time or early.
