This contractor was very reassuring in the bidding process and was the lowest bidder but after being awarded the job, changed demeanor and behavior completely. After refinishing what was a smooth and shiny wood floor, he left me with a rough and dull floor. It was so rough, it grabbed our socks as we walked over it. He was given a chance to correct it and after a lot of complaining, he added another coat of finish and it still wasn't smooth. In addition, new wood that he installed was unprofessionally done (uneven edges, not enough room for wood to expand). He used cheap materials. We couldn't get straight answers from him. Buyer beware
