After consulting with Alan Solis, Gabriel and two other helpers were sent to prep and paint our deck three different colors all specified by me. Results are dazzling and could not be more impressive! Very professional, reliable and even personable. Planning on using him for other projects! Couldn't be any happier!!

Allen Solis and his team are highly skilled professionals with great prices. Once hired, we agreed on a date for the work to begin. Gabe was sent to prep the room. He spent a lot of time prepping a room that I thought was fine before applying 2 coats of paint. He was meticulous with his work. Everything looks really nice and I've already hired them to paint additional rooms in my house. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends (or even a stranger looking at HomeAdvisor). They do quality work at a fair price all while being nice guys. Quality, price, and nice.... the contractor trifecta!!! Give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

In preparation for my painting project, I obtained three quotes from local painters. I chose this company primarily because I was so impressed with Allen Solis when he first came to my house. That good feeling I had , continued throughout the whole project. His employees were competent, knowledgeable and very eager to meet my every request. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to others.

There are many painting companies in the Maplewood / South Orange / Summit / Milburn area. Usually they are very expensive and do an alright job, or they are cheap and do a horrible job. In my 5 years I have experienced both. I found Solis painting through a friend who bought a house in Summit and had the whole interior painted. The prep work that they did was amazing, and the work came out perfect. They made one mistake, using the wrong color in a room, but once that was pointed out, they fixed it at no charge. Their price is NOT the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. When I had them come to my house and he presented the price to me, they broke down the costs of EVERY part. Cost of materials, labor, time, etc. I ended up choosing them and i am totally happy! I Have already hired them to do more work and even recommended them to my parents. A++++++ I feel lucky I found them and I am sure you will also! I know that this review sounds overly positive, but I personally hate to paint and always hire someone. I have had so many bad experiences in this area, unlike any place I have ever lived. Finding them means so much to me and I am sure that others have the same issues as me so I want to help people find them!

Although it was lowest bid we received for painting our living room and dining room Solis did a great job. The first day they spent hours doing prep work, sanding and removing wallpaper. The next day 2 coats of paint was used to cover all the walls. They even painted the bannister area of the stairs which wasnâ t even included in the estimate. We intend to use them again we paint our upstairs bed rooms

I cant say enough good thing about Alan and his crew. First the basics: 1. He was reasonable on cost, the crew was clean, courteous and hard working. I felt I got good value for what I paid for But that wasnt where the good experience ended: Alan was on top of things the entire job, communicated all the time and most importantly made sure he and in turn I was happy with the work. The other really important thing to me at least was, he told me what should be done and why like a true professional. He didnt skimp on materials, completed the work on time and really made sure my wife and I were happy with the work before accepting final payments. He was a pleasure to work with and earned as many recommendations as I can give along with any future business I can give as well.

The workers were on time. Did an exceptional job. Left everything as clean as a whistle.

Don't Hire them. Allan is a very nice guy, however, he is not the one that is doing the work. He leaves and has people working and there is a gap in the communications, as well this leads to the quality of work. If you think that spending more $$$$$ for a job you will get better work think again. They do not do 2 or more coats of work, they also do not pay attention to details, and the carpenter that he has working for him, just after 2 months I can see a crack in the paint. If they tell you they remove everything and paint underneath, I would check before you pay them as that is not the case, if you want to see his work I have a picture to show you. I would suggest that you find another painter who walks and talks with integrity. You should look at the jobs that others perform before expecting them on your list. Ladies proof is in the details and he is not detailed oriented just pricey.

This is my first time use home advisor and I'm very satisfied with the results. Allen is the owner of Solis painting , he is very helpful to choose nice colors for our walls. He bought a lot of different sample paints to help us find our best choice. His workers are deligent and working hard. They even are willing to work on the weekend and Labor's Day to get their job done asap. Allen quotes the best price than other contractors. I have no hesitation to refer him to my friends.

The owner Alan Solis at our first meeting was quite knowledgeable, friendly, and very impressive. His team were prompt and were extremely neat. I highly recommend them!

Responded quickly with an estimate for a bathroom repainting. Price was very reasonable and was able to schedule a date within one week. Painters were on time and highly professional. Job was completed in just one day despite unexpected difficulties (bathroom had underlying wallpaper that had been painted over). Unexpected problems were resolved without any extra charge.
