That Shawn guy made me very uncomfortable always hitting on meâ ¦ do not reccomend

Never hire if brought up, hired for service, and nothing was ever performed. They never reached out and will not answer any form of communication. They took the money and ran leaving me with nothing but no fence and no money.

DO NOT HIRE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY...This is the worst company Iâ ve EVER worked with! First of all they took FOREVER to even show up to start the job for our fence and then they get the wrong gate size TWO times. And now they STILL havenâ t come to install our gates and finish the job for MONTHS. They wonâ t answer any calls or messages and they completely scammed us out of A LOT of money. I would NEVER recommend these people to my worst enemy. Wish there were more honest and hard working people in this world but these people are NOT IT.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. When I first contacted them, everything seemed great. Shawn gave me a great deal on my fence. When it came to communication is where things went downhill. We set a date to have the fence put up and they kept telling me *we will be there* that weekend came and I heard nothing. I had to call them for Shawn to tell me they are still in the middle of another job and will not be out until the following weekend. We had just bought this house and had 2 huskies to bring home. So I had to walk my dogs every time to go to the bathroom. Then they finally showed up to work, but it was a blizzard outside so we are unsure of how the concrete that holds the posts in is gonna hold up since they did not settle right. They tore up our yard, there are gaps under the fence that my dogs could easily dig under, and they did not pick up after themselves and left things in the yard that could have been VERY harmful to our dogs had they found them before. For example, an led light with 3 AAA batteries still in it with no back, small zip ties, and a stake with a free hanging screw sticking through it. They also ruined our neighbors fence, were very reluctant to give them their insurance information, and told them they would be out later that week to fix it. It has now been 3 months and it is still not fixed. They did not even tell me they ruined my neighbors fence until my dog went under it into my neighbors yard!! My neighbor and I have both tried reaching out to see when they will fix it and they ignore us. Today my dog went under the fence again as their temporary fix finally gave out, when I called them to tell them Taylor hung up on me mid-sentence! VERY unprofessional. I will NEVER be calling them or recommending them for any work in the future.

I AM UPDATING MY REVIEW. He called me back! The deck post Sota Contracting put in is already cracked after less than a month. I don't know if this is due to a bad install, poor quality post, or just happens . He will not call me back to discuss it. I sent him pictures of the post so he can see what I am concerned about. The price was right. I would not recommend him.

We highly recommend Sota Contracting. Shawn constructed a beautiful pergola for us and we are thrilled with it. We were not certain of what we wanted, but Shawn worked with us to come up with something that exceeded our expectations and was much less expensive than we anticipated. He also gave us options to fit our budget. He didn't try to sell us something more expensive. The job was done quickly and efficiently and the workmanship is excellent.

We had just a small job to put up a wooden fence but Shawn handled it like we were his biggest customer. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Shawn did a very professional job and we would certainly use Sota Contracting again.

They did a great job installing the window. Their team was professional and efficient. They were extremely reasonable on their estimate and overall excellent to work with.

He supplied all of the proper equipment and tools, was very professional, and completed the project in an exceptionally timely manner and much to our satisfaction!
