I was very happy with the work , and I would use your company again.

The repairman was very polite and explained the problem with the diswasher throughly. The part did not come in immediately, but beyond the control of Soumadel and a reschedule went as planned. I also had need for a gas stove repair six months later and he came promptly and was able to repair the stove with a part that he had on hand, a regulator for turning the gas on in the oven. I am a landlord of six apartments and so need a dependable service company for these type of repairs and I would recommend Soumadel for prompt and courteous service.

Changed my mind about the repair

They were quick and able to fix the problem with my dishwasher, at least as far as they could.

I arranged to have Soumadel Services come to look at our washer on a Saturday, setting asside the hours of 1:00 - 5:00. They never showed-up. When I contacted them to find-out where they were, they did not appologize, saying it was my fault for not returning their call to me that in the message said they were on their way. The message did not state or request that II needed to call back, nor did they leave a call back number. I blocked out my Saturday afternoon waiting for them and all I got was attitude. Not very professional and would not recommend them.

Everybody says that you should just buy a new microwave rather than getting it repaired. We have an over-the-range microwave & I didn't want to replace it if I didn't have to. Called Soumadel & they came over the next day. He was on-time although he called me from his van to complain that he couldn't find parking -- I didn't know what to say to him. If you work in Boston parking is an issue, no question. I didn't understand why he was calling me about it. Any way, he eventually found a spot & came up. He was friendly & diagnosed a dead magnetron which would cost a ton to repair as we were off warranty. So we're buying a new microwave. . .

Technician was very knowledgeable and made the repairs fast. I paid $280 for a dryer repair that involved changing the motor drive and a safety switch, which was a bit more than I expected.

I hestitate to give them even one star, but they they did at least identify the problem While the repairman was very nice, the service was awful. Three visits and nothing got done. At the third visit, he could not even pull the dishwasher out from under the counter ... I did it. After 30 - 45 minutes (on the third visit) of pulling covers, screws, etc off the dishwasher he admiited he did not know how to replace the pump. I wish he told me that off the bat as a week had gone by. Ultimately, I was able to replace the pump myself by consulting internet sites.
