I had a few minor repairs and he came in and was so nice and professional and did way more than i expected. The pricing was just perfect as well.

Paul was excellent , called me right back , gave a reasonable estimate and time frame to do the work , then delivered on the work , kept to the estimate and time frame and did excellent work . He also made sure that we were 100% satisfied with the work which we were . Plan on using Paul again for future projects

I hired them to do several small jobs. I'm amazed at how quickly they were able to get them done, as well as the quality of work. They went above and beyond on every job, fixing things that weren't even part of the job that they noticed while doing the job. They are also very pleasant to work with. I asked about their opinion on other projects I wanted to do, and they actually suggested alternate options that could save me money (even if it resulted in not using them). Great people!!! I will be hiring them for all small and large jobs I have in the future. These are people you can trust!

I learned about Sound Shore Construction from Home Advisor and the reviews. I called for an estimate as a result. The reviews were spot on! Paul is not only a pleasure to work with, but his estimate was fair, and the workmanship of his crew was impeccable, timely and detailed. We needed an exterior door replaced and refitted, siding repaired and a damaged gutter repaired in a rental unit. In addition to the high quality of work, Paul checked after the work was completed to make sure everything was done as expected. I let him know it was better than expected, and asked him if he could complete some other jobs on my own home. One of the jobs, which included replacing another external door and replacing a wall with insulation in the basement, needed attention immediately, and Paul arranged to have his crew come the next day. Again, the estimate was fair, the work was detailed, beautiful and beyond my expectations. Paul's follow-up is very helpful, and he patiently answers any and all questions. He gives you all the time you need. I have already asked him to look at some other issues that need attention, and I look forward to working with him. It is extremely comforting to know Paul because of his vast knowledge, creativity, problem-solving ability, fairness and "can do" approach, which will make it possible for my husband and me to keep our home well maintained going forward.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early. Paul was GREAT!!! His workers are very professional, courteous, organized and clean. I received pristine quality work for a very affordable price. I plan on continuing the working relationship as I have many other projects that I will use them for.

Sound shore construction did an excellent job and I would recommend them. Courteous, clean, and made sure we were happy throughout the project. Always on time and easy to schedule with. We lived in the house during the work and they were very respectful of that and kept things as clean as possible.

owner charged me more than others and wanted cash...if I had time I would have seen more handymen but I was in a time crunch. He charged me $160/hr...stating this was lower than other handymen...not true their base rate was $140 (I called several) and some were even less...like he told me 'I can do it and you can't".

Paul is knowledgeable and had wonderful suggestions. He had his crew on site a day after we met with him. Every crewmember he sent was skilled, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. We are so pleased with the finished project which involved renovations to an outdoor porch and reframing/installation of an exterior door.
