Dylan Goen took near 3000 dollar deposit Via my credit card for deck repair on 9/4/2020, then came back once in several weeks, and did some measurement, then just vanished - not answering phone calls, never returned messages, never showed up again. We tried to dispute the charge with the credit card company without taking him to court, but he refuses to return the money. So we are left responsible for the charge. Dylan told us that he wanted us to be his life long customers and we were happy to do that, but this behavior just ruined his personal and his company credibility and reputation. I do not understand why a business owner would do this to themselves. I saw the review from another customer who had the same poor experience with Dylan, unfortunately. I hope HomeAdvisor dispute team can help us get our money back without us taking him to court. People go through difficulties in life, but there are right ways to solve problems and move forward. Dylan, I hope you can contact us and return the deposit money and restore our trust in you.

Do not give this man any money until work is completed.

This contractor took a huge deposit, did not spend anything on our project, did not offer us a contract, did not order anything and the estimate did not have the materials we requested. The materials we requested were on backorder so that the project could not be completed per schedule as concrete was to be used and it would be too cold to install it when the materials came in. We asked for our money back but he will not return it. We are taking him to court. I would not hire him unless he did the work upfront without anything down.
