PJ and his crew do amazing work. They took down a bunch of giant trees with ease and other than the trees being gone left almost no trace they were here. Our yard looks so different now and we are loving the extra sunlight. We will recommend them to anyone that needs tree work.

Highly recommend South Coast Tree for service and removal ! Past week had many tall trees of Pine and Oak that were posing danger and more risk with each storm from the years. Some already cracking, bending and leaning far to much towards home / electrical area. Many top heavy with sway being tall pines. Owner PJ and his crew cut and removed about 25 trees. Once cut, smaller stocks, debris were all chipped for removal and larger remains removed with their logger truck. Area was left perfectly cleaned up ! Cannot say enough about the excellent work by owner and crew. Again, great work from start to finish, professional, honest, hard workers and fast. Smaller stuff done one day , then the many tall trees done in a day with their expert crane work. Thanks again ! A++++++

I had a dead tree on my lawn that had to come down sooner rather than later. I read the great reviews for South Coast Tree Service and I was able to get in touch with Pj and he stopped by on December 30, 2025, looked at the tree, gave me a price (a very reasonable price) which included the grinding of the stump…let me also state how very professional Pj and his crew are…he told me what they would do as far as cutting down the tree, grinding the stump and cleaning it up. The next morning they show up and by the time they were finished the area had been completely cleaned up and all branches, twigs and even the sawdust was gone. I was extremely happy with the results and I no longer have to worry about what could happen if a strong gust of wind causing problems for me. I have told my friends and family how South Coast Tree Service provided top notch service and I would not hesitate to call them again if needed in the future. I learned about South Coast Tree Service when they were doing some work at my neighbor’s house. I asked if they were able to have some come over and discuss some work I needed after they finished their work and PJ was at my house a short while later. I pointed out the major concerns with the trees in my yard and he worked with me to determine what trees needed removal vs what could be trimmed back. He helped me preserve as many of the mature trees as he could while them keeping my total budget in mind. His team was efficient and treated my property with respect from the second they arrived. I look forward to having PJ and his team back in the future when I’m in need of additional work.

PJ and his staff did an great job removing 7 very large trees in close proximity to our house. His team was professional and courteous, and had the yard clean when done. We look forward to reaching back out to South Coast Tree Service in the Spring to have them back out to grind the stumps. Job well done!
