Mike from South County Carpet & Upholstery is not only very knowledgeable but refreshingly honest. We asked him to clean several rooms of carpet and some upholstered white furniture. While he could have easily done the furniture , he told us he felt he could not get it cleaned to his standards and suggested other methods rather than do a job he, himself would not be pleased with. His pricing was reasonable. He was professional and courteous and very respectful of our home. Great experience! We are having him come back and clean our A/C duct work.

This is an owner operated business. Mike came to my house on time, performed the expected work for the estimate, and completed the job in the time allotted. Mike is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He did what he said for the price he quoted. How much better can you get than that?

He completed the job quickly and he didn't try to talk me into things that I didn't need.

Mike was very quick to respond once I had put the request out. He was hired to clean all the air ducts/vents which he did without making a huge mess, being respectful of the furnishings and not damaging walls and stuff with all the pipes. I will hire again

Terrific guys, identified the underlying problem with my dryer venting system quickly and correctly.

The initial concerns were rectified, but due to the length of time that it took to get the situation resolved, I gave the company a 4 instead of a 5.

very quick response and quality work

I hired Michael of South County Carpet Cleaning to clean my living room carpet, and to clean floor tile and grout in a hallway, bathroom and in the kitchen. On 6/30/17 he arrived and cleaned the carpet and then started on the tile. The carpet cleaning went well, however when cleaning the tile, his tile cleaning machine (Hydroforce SX) left black circular marks on three tiles. He could not explain why this had happened, saying it had never happened before. He attempted to clean them, but could not remove the marks. He said he would return shortly after the 4th of July holiday and would clean the tiles. On about July 11, Mike called, saying he had a cleaner to remove the marks, and he would return to finish the job. It was July 29 before Mike returned. The cleaner he brought with him did nothing to rectify the situation. He said he would talk to a tile installer about this and would return to either clean the tile or would replace two of the three marked tiles with two tiles I had remaining from when the tile had been installed years earlier. Hearing nothing more from Mike, on August 7 I left him a message, stating that if he did not resolve the problem by August 19, I would have to find someone else who would clean or replace the tiles. I heard nothing more from Mike. Mike did a good job cleaning the carpet. If the tile cleaning had been done without incident, I would have giving him a 5 star rating. I recommend him for carpet cleaning, but, if you want him to clean tiles and grout, I advise that you find someone else.

Mike was very polite and very honest. No hidden agenda, very straight forward and did a great job. He was also very informative.
