Steve is very dedicated to his craft. His level of detail and expertise combine to make beautiful projects. We replaced an old deck with a new Azek composite deck (as well as all new framing). Steve made adjustments along the way as different ideas arose. No detail is overlooked and every aspect of the project is tied together. Will absolutely use Steve and his crew again for future projects.

South Eastern Carpentry demolished our old deck and built a new Azek composite 31' x 18' deck with Key-Link railing and horizontal cables, including a whole new frame, stairway, and several footings. We cannot remark positively enough about Steve, the owner, and his crew of John and Joe. They hold themselves to exceptionally high standards in quality and professionalism, are personable, and communicate well. The new frame greatly exceeded building code standards, and our town Building Inspector remarked privately to us that he greatly respected Steve's projects among all the work he examines. A couple of unforeseen problems came up during the construction which Steve was able to solve on the fly, but Steve nevertheless stayed within the contract price and finished the deck when he said he would. They have a very strong work ethic, as evidenced by their excavating 4-foot deep footings by hand in 95 degree heat. Even though this was Steve's first Key-Link horizontal cable deck, he quickly progressed through a steep learning curve to a point, at the end, where he could have given Key-Link's engineers a few pointers about how to improve their product and make it easier to build. Steve and his crew took a level of expertise that is expected from finish carpenters, and applied those same skills and levels of quality to our deck.

This is simply the best company around. I was absolutely astonished at the dedication, craftsmanship and level of attention to detail that was provided. In addition, Steve and his team are a pleasure to work with and everything was done in under 2 weeks. He made suggestions that I would never have thought of that improved the project immensely, without adding a cent to the cost. I can't wait to hire them again.

SEC Inc is a professional and highly qualified company. Steve and his team do great work and are a pleasure to work with. This is the second large project they have completed in our home in the past year. We would welcome them back anytime. The entire endeavor of demolition, prep, and building of our new composite deck went as well as I could have hoped. I would tell anyone who listens to hire South Eastern Carpentry.

Steve and his team made this so simple. The work is exceptional and the daily clean up kept me happy. Steve's taste is wonderful and his advice on my choices helped me not to make poor decisions. South Eastern Carpentry completed our bathroom remodel and we couldn���t be happier. Steve is a consummate professional and took full responsibility for the project, while letting me make all the decisions. I especially appreciated getting daily updates on exactly what to expect. That the project came in on time and on budget was great for meeting my expectations. The quality of the workmanship, the quality, professionalism, and friendliness of Steve���s crew and associates, plus my being able to rely completely on SEC for the whole project made for a very pleasing outcome.

Stephen has been extremely responsive to my needs and requests. He and his employees are professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I had no issue leaving them in my home when I left for work. Stephen followed through on all his promises and often went above and beyond to please. The bathroom was taken down right to the studs. All permits were taken care of without issue. He made sure the area was left cleaner than even before the project, I am planning on hiring him next fall to do the main bath because of the fine workmanship his company has shown on this project.

I received very good support and service throughout the life of the project; staff worked late to complete the project earlier than originally estimated. A couple minor issues not noticed at the original end date of the project were cheerfully corrected once brought to their attention, even after the project was officially 'complete'. The contracted cost was a little over the original ballpark estimate, but Steve threw in some minor 'extras' as freebies.

Everything was done on time or before. Steve and his crew were polite, curtious and had ideas and visions of what might look good. The work is excellent. My My bathroom is gorgeous.

Steve is a good salesman who delivers on the promise. We did a bathroom rework. New tub, sink, etc. The team is experienced and has a good eye for theme selection. Did a fine job and kept the place meticulously clean at the end of the day. Very expedient and handled the permit work even when it got tricky due to a procedural delay. Overall I give them high marks and recommend SEC for any home project that they specialize on.

South Eastern Carpentry is well run and professional. Steve does high quality work in a timely manner. They also are very clean and neat. I would definatley recommend them for your renovations needs.

This was our first time to "hire out" for our house. Steve and his crew were everything I could have hoped for and more. On time, clean, very thorough with every aspect of the job, everything that was said would be done was done and then some. Just can't say enough about South Eastern Carpentry. SEC just built a two-tier, L-shaped deck for us, and we absolutely love it! It's a sizable deck, over 400 square feet, and it was finished in under a week. Each day, the crew showed up on time, worked steadily throughout the day, and spent time cleaning up the yard each evening. On the final day, they spent a good two hours cleaning my yard, collecting nails and debris -- a gesture we greatly appreciate as we have a two year old. The finished product is sturdy, beautiful, and exactly what we wanted. SEC takes pride in their work, and it shows in their top-notch pieces. We would definitely recommend them (and hire them again)!

Southeastern carpentry, came, saw, and nailed it, no pun intended! Showed up when promised, worked on our roof non-stop on the hottest day of the year, and in one week had replaced a back deck with a better, more attractive one, front porch, 3 entry doors and frames, and other laundry list items, such as down spouts and some siding pieces.. we were thrilled with the work ethic and commitment of Steve and his team.. Steve and the Team would even try to save us money when it was possible instead of adding cost unless it was absolutely necessary. Constant communication and followup and walk throughs are a huge strength of this company as well.

I would highly recommend Southeastern Carpentry Co. I found Steve very helpful with his good eye for design and good taste. He and his crew wre hard working, polite and most of all neat !! Keep in mindd that when doing a home project of any size you can always expect a few snags due to outside circumstances, Be patient and confident the project outcome will be worth the wait !!!!!!!

south eastern carpentry did a great job with our window replacement project. they arrived on time , did the job in the time that we agreed upon, and did a very good job cleaning up when done. i could really tell that they take great pride in thier work. our windows look great and i look forward to working with south eastern carpentry on our next project.

Steve and his crew were great. They were professional and reliable. I particularly loved the fact that when work begins at your home is it seen through to finish without any stops along the way. The work was done right and Steve provided great ideas and flexible options allowing me to chose just how much I wanted to spend on the project without skimping on quality or workmanship. Nice people who know their stuff - I will keep calling him back for all my projects!

I had a complicated renovation project with siding that could have been bungled by the wrong contractor choice. Thankfully, I chose South Eastern Carpentry! These guys do what that say, and say what they do. The job site was well run and always cleaned up. The communication was excellent which is paramount to a great finished product. SEC offered solid ideas and solutions to the inevitable challenges that come up with an older building. The finished product quality was fantastic! SEC may not be the low cost bidder, but the value and peace of mind you'll receive is priceless. There is no other contractor! I highly recommend SEC!
