Called Saturday afternoon and they came out that same day. I needed a thermostat installed. Cannot say enough about this kind of fast service on a hot Saturday night. Thank you South Austin AC.

Had installed a new control board for a furnace, but wasn't sure about some final connections. Most companies said they would not finish the install because I didn't buy the board from them. So I called South Austin AC and Andy came out and finished the install with no problem.

Franks was great. After 4 houses and 20+ years of home ownership, this was the most efficient repair service I've ever used. Even though it was an after hours AC emergency, he actually answered the phone in person and was there in one hour. He diagnosed the problem, grabbed the part and had the AC fixed by 11am the next morning. Not once did he try to up sell a new unit or anything--just a straightforward, fast, honest repair. And, being an after hours visit--he could have charged anything...but the rates were extremely reasonable. The other 24/7 emergency AC services I called that night returned my phone call the next day AFTER Frank had already finished the repair. He now has a loyal customer and I recommend him with no hesitations.

South Side are always great when you need assistance with your AC system. Frank Jr and Frank Sr will quickly answer questions and get out to your house as soon as possible. They put customer service first and as a result are very easy to work with. I've recommended them to friends who have had similar experiences and now solely use South side. Costs are always competitive and they stand behind their work & reputation.

Frank helped me get my a/c units in good condition remotely. I could not be home and my wife would really rather I be there to handle this kind of transaction. Frank dealt with me on the phone (so my wife didn't have to) and Frank senior did the repairs. Their claim is professional reliable service plain and simple; and that is what they do. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. My highest compliment to trade professionals is to call on them again and to recommend them to people I love. Frank Senior was the technician servicing my A/C. He called before coming by, diagnosed the problem, got the parts needed and had the A/C cleaned up and going in about 1 1/2 hrs. I am very thankful for the promptness of the job, well done. If needed will certainly use again.

The Company came out to my home after hours, diagnosed the issue as fan motor on outside of unit. The company was able to replace motor company finished around 9:30 pm sine then have had no issues will use company in the future.

When 10 other AC Repair Services I called were letting their calls to voicemail, Southside answered on the 2nd ring, sent a tech in 20 minutes, fixed the problem in another 30 minutes and did it for a GREAT price. Very happy with the service I received!

Simply the best in Austin. I had a new 3.5 Ton heat pump installed by Frank and his son Frank less than 24 hours after noticing it had broken. They are very professional, kind and fair. I will be using them for all of my future AC and Heating need.

Just ANOTHER home run review for Frank Cruz (all of them! :-) For South Side Heating and Air. These guys are great, honest, hard working and communicate. We all know that A/C repairs can be costly, but Frank gives you options...before...during and AFTER the work has been completed. I have called him for advice on more than one occasion and he has always been helpful and honest with me (recommending where I should spend my money and where I should hold off) to get the most bang for the buck. Very long overdue review. About a year ago we used South Side Air Conditioning to replace our central air system. Not only did they offer an exceptionally competitive price (we shopped for quotes), but the meticulous way they worked, the professionalism, the quality of the actual product, the kind nature of the owner and the employees all far surpassed expectations. We used these guys once, but I would never use anyone else in town if the need should ever arise.
