Great work just took a bit longer than estimated

I've had several requests to home advisor for this job. I found the owner to be of good character in that he did what he said he would do and completed the job in a timely manner. I will definitely use him again or refer him to family and friends.

He did a great job replacing closet doors. Arrived promptly. Cleaned up after work and took off old doors. Have already referred him to family and friends. Would definitely hire him again. Price was reasonable.

Southeast Renovations conducted themselves in a professional manner. They came prepared for the job; maintained an organized work area, and cleaned behind themselves prior to leaving. This included surveying the area prior to work to ensure what exactly needed to be done; to following up once the job was completed. I will hire this company for more jobs.

My wife broke her hip due to a fall. I needed handrails built on the steps from the garage to the house . Called the contractor on Fri Afternoon. Met him on Mon AM. He was on time & it took only 3 hours from concept to completion. Outstanding job. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended

Very professional, on time and at estimated cost. Replaced three sections of old fence, looks better than the fence did originally. I will definitely hire them again and highly recommend.

This has been a bad experience overall and will I will not recommend this business for installing an interior door. I originally scheduled the appointment at a time my wife and I were available, but this ended up being an estimate visit and the contractor left with 10 minutes. I had to reschedule for a less suitable time as I needed this done soon. Contactor called the morning of and needed to come in at 0930 instead of 0800. When asked, I was told the job would only take about an hour. I communicated tbis was fine, but I work third shift and would go to bed after the job was finished. Contractor had to make two additional trips to Lowe's to exchange doors. The door he brought with him had a crack in the frame, which he told me about and took care of the exchange. Second door was too big, and he tried wedging a 32" inch door into a 30" space, scratching the paint on the nearby wall. He exchanged this door for a door that opened into the hallway, despite a door stopper inside the room and not in the hall. After a little over 3 hours into this project, there is a door installed that opens into the hallway. I could not wait around for another door to be installed, and I could not micromanage him and watch my dog, so I paid him the rest of the money so he could leave. Today I called to make arrangements to have a different door that opens into my bedroom installed. Contractor wanted me to buy a new door to correct his mistake. HomeAdvisor should not recommend Southeast Renovations for interior door install. This contractor rushes jobs and cannot communicate properly. Horrible experience overall. Now I have to find a different business to do the job.

They are prompt, come when they say they will be there, and do very nice work. In our case, they had to hand make a replacement wooden gate and did a splendid job of replicating the old (rotten) one.

Arrived on agreed time, very professional and knowledgeable, he knew exactly how to address the issues even the unexpected one, He did more than what we initially agreed without changing his original quote. I will definitely use Jason for more upcoming projects, it is such a pleasure doing business with him.
