Horrible communication ended with him abandoning his job and stating "sue me." Make sure you use your own contract and hold them to it. They will take your money and run!

Extremely slow, the job is still not finished and I do not know when it will be! I am hiring an attorney to communicate better with them.

Renovated my kitchen during COVID. Excellent quality of products including cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, cabinet pulls and all details. Quality workmanship. Polite, personable and appropriate from the sales person Mike, office person Martha, Kyle and his teams especially Rodney and Brent who did the hard work. Backsplash is beautiful. This team works well together and produces a great finished product. Would definitely use them for future renovations!! Extremely satisfied!

09/11/2019 I hired SouthEastern Construction and Rehab (SECR) from their location at FL. I spoke with salesman, Mike, he was very nice and helpful. Project overview: remodel of my 10x8 kitchen. Start date: 10/21/2019 End date: 03/04/2020 Initial Price: $22,500.00 Final cost = $23,950.00 The remodel was to replace the old and install new cabinets using soft close doors and drawers, quartz counter tops, glass backsplash, new lighting, and new sink. During demolition the old cabinets were removed and the floor underneath was at a different level because we did not replace the existing floor tiles. They were not able to get the sub floor right, so now in the final product you can see a large gap in front of the some of the lower cabinet bottoms. It was never filled, and I was told we can buy some type of grout and fill it. The electrician needed to run an additional home run line for the stove top which cost an additional $1,450.00 The electrician and the plumber were awesome. Although most of the people were very nice, it seemed they had difficulty with their jobs, so it took several visits and multiple people to complete each aspect of the job. The kitchen was not ready for Thanksgiving as I was originally told. 12/04/2019 Installation of the very beautiful quartz countertops, but the installers managed to scratch a small section by the sink, and they could not make the seam where the 2 pieces join *disappear*, so there is a visible crack. I was not home when the countertops were installed, so I did not have a chance to inspect them. At least at Chrtistmas we could use a part of the kitchen, all the cabinets were not finished. There were times when a week would pass with no one showing up to work. I called and texted the project manager Kyle, he was so overwhelmed with all his tasks, he simply could not handle it well. At times when I called him to ask when someone was coming in to finish up a job, he would say *oh I thought they finished*. He never seemed to know what his workers were doing or where they were in their efforts. We had 3 different guys do the back splash, which is crooked to this day but at first glance it is very nice. We had 2 different guys, (1 was an electrician) come in 5 or 8 times to straighten the cabinets, which are crooked to this day. Ricky is the main cabinet guy, and he is a very nice kid and is learning as he goes. I called the office manager, Martha Diaz, several times and was never answered. I left voice messages but my calls were never returned. The job was completed in mid Feb 2020, and still needs adjustments to fix the crooked drawers and doors that do not close without a push. Remember the kitchen is a tiny 10X8, so why did it took 5 months to complete in a sub-par fashion? Because it was mismanaged. I suggest Kyle start using a Gantt Chart to help manage projects and visualize milestones, scheduling, and tasks. Today my kitchen is far better than the 1950s kitchen that was replaced, I am not embarrassed to have people over, and I do like it. But in good conscience, I can not recommend SECR for a kitchen remodel.

We were very pleased with the results. It was a much needed makeover. Wished we had done it sooner.

Everyone was wonderful. From Mike in sales,to Alex and Phil that did the work. To John and Craig (construction project manager). I needed my shower done due to leaks. They redone the bathroom plus a new floor. Then I had my main water pipe from meter to house had to be replaced due to a leak. I highly recommend this company. They do only bathrooms and kitchens. The job was done in 4 days.

We were very pleased with SECR on our bathroom remodeling project. They always showed up when they said they would, they stayed on schedule, and they fulfilled all commitments in the contract. Their price was on the high side, but still reasonable. We had one change order (needed new floor tile), which was handled quickly at a fair price. They were very trustworthy too, so much so that we allowed them to work in our home most days while my wife and I were away at our jobs. Martha, the office manager, and John, the site manager, were always very responsive. The quality of the work was also very good. We have only one small complaint. Mike, the salesman who sold the job, told us that SECR uses only their own employees and does not subcontract. However, several of the folks working on the project were in fact subcontractors to SECR. This was not really a problem, as they were all excellent workers; however, it was a misrepresentation of their organization. Overall, we would use SECR again without hesitation, and probably will do so for our kitchen.

We are so happy with our bathroom remodel. John and team did an excellent job and far exceeded our expectations from demo to design to installation. We were nervous since our house is brand new and we hadn't even moved in yet but any anxiety was quickly laid to rest with the professionalism and attention to details displayed by John, Juan, and the entire team. We ended up finding our own vendor for the glass shower door and John was very accommodating in that process. We would definitely recommend Southeastern Construction and Rehab Specialists! UPDATE: I am revising my review...We had a leak in our shower which damaged the flooring and carpet in the master closet. SECR came out and identified that the leak came from the shower head after cutting a large hole in the drywall....3 weeks later and we are still waiting for them to come and fix the drywall back and replace the carpet and treat the flooring...there is mold/mildew. We have had zero contact. It's a brand new house and it's very disappointing that now there is permanent damage PLUS the lack of responsibility on the part of SECR to fix it...we had other projects in mind but now will look elsewhere for a reputable contractor.

The owner of the company John has personally explained each step that they have done, and made sure that it was to our satisfaction.

Problems I encountered were resolved.

If you are reading this deciding who you should go with for your home remodel. I would strongly suggest using Southeastern Construction Company. My husband and I were so hesitant in getting our home remodeled at all due to two prior bad experiences with contractors. John knew my hesitation from the start with hiring a contractor to remodel all three of our bathrooms, as well as our laundry room and new flooring upstairs. It would be a pretty big job and we wanted someone who would stay within budget, but who would also provide exceptional work. While staying on track with timing. John and his team did exactly that. They exceeded my expectations above and beyond what I thought. Juan and his associate were wonderful. They came every morning and were courteous and clean while they worked. The work they did to our home was impeccable. John made sure to keep everything on schedule and ensured that our home renovation turned out exactly how I wanted. All of this while staying on budget. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. They brought my vision for my home to life. Southeastern Construction Company is truly a diamond in the rough of contractors. I can not say enough good things about the team that worked at my home, or the company themselves. You will not be disappointed hiring them for your remodeling needs.
