"I would like to respond first by saying that our company does all that is possible to always give the customer the best service and product. We always go as far as we possibly can to make the customer happy.. We believe that customer satisfaction is most important in a successful company. However in this case regrettably and in spite of our countless efforts to satisfy the customer, it was not possible. This project was a simple ornamental aluminum custom double gate in the front and single walk gate at back between CBS concrete block walls. From the beginning I explained to (consumer name withheld at their request), that it would take 3 to 4 weeks total time in order to manufacture and powder coat paint the gates. We took exactly three and a half weeks to manufacture and paint. However when we went to install we found that the opening size, due to the unevenness of the walls was not correct. We explained what happened and apologized for the inconvenience. She asked if we could add aluminum backing in order to have privacy on the back gate. We agreed to install aluminum backing for the back gate at no extra cost , due to this mistake on our behalf. We made corrections to front gate, added the aluminum privacy backing to the back gate and sent to paint. This process took another two 1/2 a half weeks. The day we went back to install the gates she explained that after further thought she would like the back gate to have some other kind of screening so that air can flow through. She was adamant that she did not want to lose her privacy but also wanted air to come through. I explained to her that only one is possible . Again she was adamant that she no longer wanted the privacy backing. She wanted screening which has air flow. She also complained that the gap at the bottom of the front double gate which was 3 inches "was too much" and didn't want animals to go through the bottom. We explained to her that we would need a min of 2" space at the bottom to allow the gate to open and that the space is less than the spacing between pickets. She insisted that we reduced the gap as much as we could. We agreed again. We took the front gate back for corrections and also removed the back gate along with the backing and installed aluminum screening with holes for air flow. This process took another 2 weeks . Once installed customer complained again that she was not happy with the screening we installed on the back gate and that she did not think she should have to pay the remaining balance. I respectfully explained to her that I could reinstall the total privacy backing on the gate but that the remaining balance must be paid once the job has been complete. She declined any more work to be done and said that if she had to pay the remaining balance she would give us a really bad review. I again offered to install privacy backing and make any other adjustments possible, but that I would need payment in full once the job is complete. She was very angry and d"
