don?t even think about hiring this company. I hired them August 2024 to do an excavation and dig job to prepare my backyard for a pool . Josh Barnhart stole dirt from my land and stole it . he promised to reimburse me for the dirt but never did. He will make you all kinds of promises but his promises are bogus. He lies and will not finish your job. He?s Scam artist. He last delivered materials to my house on (March 24 2025 )claiming that Blalock construction company made mistakes in the color. it doesn?t take eight months to do a project. They are scammers!!!

Stay away! The worst company I ever worked with in TN. Use timing pressure to get me to pay $10k total price upfront. Half of the work was not finished but refused to refund me for the work that wasn't done. Instead Josh blocked my phone number after he told me his office would refund me within that week.

Mike and his entire crew went out of their way to make us happy with the end product. Not only did they install a new fence, which is outstanding, they also build three large raised bed flower beds and a large raised bed vegetable garden. They were always thinking and came up with great ideas, which we mostly incorporated into the design. Their pricing was very very competitive, they were here when they said they would be and did all they could to meet our schedule even though we had many rain days(washouts). Thanks again to Mike and his crew and YES I would recommend them!!!

Southern Boyâ s Lawn care did an amazing job for me. They brought in fill dirt to fill in my yard and put down dormant grass seed and straw to help prepare my yard for spring. I look forward to working with these guys in the spring to put in flower beds that will be fantastic. These guys are professional and polite and a pleasure to work with!

The guy we dealt with is great. Very friendly and professional. Got back with us in a very timely manner. The work they did today was exactly what we asked.

This company is not landscapers, at best they are dirt movers. There integrity as a business is very questionable. Please be aware of using this company, they do not do what they say and will not fix issues that arise within a 30 day window of completion.

We are a HOA and this company is the best. They did a great job with the best customer service We have seen in a long time. They also prayed with one of our board members about a situation. They we God sent and represented God well. We highly recommend this company for all work that they do

They were very professional and did excellent work. I had the opportunity and working with both Mike and Nathan. They kept me informed and let me know when the project could have had issues and had a way to address it. I fully recommend them for any excavating project.

Mike worked with me even though I was not in the area for the demolition. He made the experience as easy as possible.

Did very good job fixing our gravel driveway& heard we needed hand rails installed for our front porch,his recommendations showed up& were completely finished within probably 1.5 1 3/4 hr.time frame.will be seeking more work to get things fixed at our cabin.great job all way around.

Mike and Josh did major repair work on my property. Mike was quick to call back after initial contact. Josh and Mike showed up and gave very through bid. Job was completed in a timely manner. A wonderful job completed. Absolutely would hire again.
