One Time Interior House Cleaning
I'm sad to have to post this review, as the initial conversation and setup was professional and polite. This company is properly named, as their carpet care gets the job done. That's where it stops. Do NOT hire this company to do any additional cleaning. The cleaners did a poor job. I promptly notified the manager with pictures, requesting a manager come inspect the work ASAP. They instead were very combative and defensive. I spent $480 to have my carpets and house cleaned, only to have the carpets done to satisfactory and the cleaning to be, well, see my google review with pictures.

"Southern Carpet Care is a Carpet cleaning company that also does deep cleaning by the hour. It took us 2 hours to clean the carpets and Michael only wanted 2 hours of deep cleaning on a rental house that needed about 6 hours for the deep cleaning. We gave him 2 hours of deep cleaning and he wasn't on the job to inspect it. He lives far away and was depending on his new tenant to let him know if they were happy. They told us they were very happy and then later after we were long gone from the job site changed their mind. What a ripoff! I was quoted $75 for a sofa cleaning and was told it would take an hour and $100 for a simple house cleaning. My normal housekeeper is on sick leave. I asked Vickie @ So. Carpet how long would I get for my $100? I told her normally it takes 4 hours and she said it would take the same amount of time. I also explained to her that my house is incredibly small and very clean. I only have 1 BR and 1 bath. Well, they did the sofa in less than 30 minutes and the house in 1 hour! They didn't even come into the bedroom because they said I was in there? Where was I supposed to sit with a wet sofa?! She quoted me $175.00 for both and again, we discussed the time. They were here less than an 1 1/2 hours total and when I called and told her they were done, I asked her if she thought that price was fair? "Yes, because I am a business and there's gas, cleaning products, etc." I offered my own cleaning supplies and they said "no". She said if I check around, her prices are very competitive. I pay my housekeeper $80 for about 3 1/2-4 hours and she uses my supplies, so I don't even know what Vickie's talking about! No, that's not comparative! Two people should have at least been here 2 hours and more for the sofa! If you want to pay almost $200 for an hour and a half, go ahead. But, you've got more money and less sense than me! I should have listened to her reviews and Vickie, if you're return business is lacking, I can tell you why! Never again and get her estimate in writing before you commit!

"I almost didn't allow a booking of this lady because she was very rude over the phone and argued with me about prices. We hung up because she said that she only paid $75 last time for her sectional sofa to be cleaned. I told her that sectionals are usually $100-$120 depending on the amount of cushions and the length of the sectional. We were there for 2 hours. One girl worked on the sofa the entire time while the other lady cleaned her house. She told me and the ladies that she was pleased. It was only when it was time to pay that she got ugly with me. I had already quoted her the price of $175 over the phone and she had agreed that it."

Recently moved out and needed someone to deep clean the house we moved from. These ladies went above and beyond to help get the house in order, and ready to be sold. They did not clean up the area around one of the carpets cleaned - water splashes etc. The furniture they cleaned was a half-but job. The crew seemed irritated with their owner for not giving them a complete or accurate work order!
