We bough our first house not too long ago. This morning we ran into a little bit of an "emergency" with an AC leakage that was already moving to adjacent spaces/rooms. Since we did not know who to call, we tried 3 different companies (well known, big-name companies) before we called Southern Efficiency. Not sure how other home-owners handle their AC issues, especially when dealing with water leaks, but for us as first-time home-owners it was a time-sensitive item and we were looking for a rapid response/swift action to get our system back to operational status. Not a single one of the other companies we called displayed either the professionalism nor the willing to help us in a timely manner. Responses we encountered included from tedious automated menus to "a technician will get in touch with you on Monday" - today, btw is Friday, that should tell you right there that their definition of sense of urgency does not match their customer's. When we called Southern Efficiency, we were impressed by their customer service. The lady on the phone was really nice and professional and paid close attention to everything we were relaying to her. Not once we were treated like 'just another customer'. Then, in less than 20 minutes their technician (Andrew) was at our door. Man, we are really glad we got him. He was ready to help and answered all of our questions. He explained everything he was doing and kept giving us information on how to better maintain our AC system. There's a reason why this company keeps receiving outstanding reviews.

The technician was courteous, professional and clearly explained the work that was performed. He answered all questions I asked him.

I realized my AC system was frozen up on a Friday night around 10 PM. Saturday morning and I'm on the phone looking for help. Called Several companies in the area and left messages with their answering services.(After all it is the weekend!) Much to my surprise,Southern Efficiency called me back almost immediately and said a service tech would soon be in route. After inspection of my 20 year old unit, we determined it would be most cost effective to replace the entire unit. Adam and Andrew patched me up enough to keep me cool , and first thing Monday they, along with Christian, were at my home installing a brand new Trane AC unit. Needless to say, when the other contractors got around to returning my call midday Monday,the deal was already done. I can't say enough about this company's customer service and efficiency! Very professional, HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Technician explained what he was doing to the AC and why . I like when I can learn and understand why the AC isnâ t working and the things that make ACâ s perform better.

I am so impressed by the customer service, communication and profeesionalism by Southern Efficiency. We have had 4 different people try to fix the air flow to our guest room and Adam is the only one who did it. At my house on Sunday on EASTER within 2 hours! Vince was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and got our A/C working again in no time. We will be switching to Southern Efficiency for all of our HVAC needs.

They had the best price and overall value for replacing the entire heat pump system based on the 6 other quotes I received. Vince was awesome; his communication was great and was quick to answer and questions in all steps of the process. He worked with my schedule and when it came time to install, he was on time with no surprises. I will definitely be using his for all of my maintenance needs as well as when I need to replace my other heat pump in the future.
