Brian did a pretty good job with the landscaping;, planting of the roses and the building the new retaining wall with new railroad ties. However, he talked me into letting him replace the backyard sod and it was dead grass and never took. A complete waste of $1000. I should have listened to my husband. Brian DOES NOT return phone calls. I am late leaving this feedback, very late, because I don't like to leave less than the best but the prompt asked me to rate my pros when I came back to look for assistance on another project so I felt compelled to do so.

Took my money and ran - wouldn't recommend this contracter to Osama bin Laden.

We hired this contractor giving him half the bid price($1215.00)per his request. It is now 2 months since contract initiation and he has yet to provide any service and refuses to refund our money. We've made numerous attempts to compromise/negotiate with him only to have him continue with his lies and excuses and never delivering on any promises made. We've submitted a complaint to the BBB and intend to pursue legal action to obtain our refund.

I have written to you about Southern Lawn before, but this is just a follow up email. They never completed the project, did not deliver all materials and constantly asked for more funds. $1850 down with another $650 in October before completion. We were shorted 2 pallets of zoysia sod, 30 bales of pine straw, 20 bags of mulch. Final payment was another $1100. They lied to us and promised times and construction that never happened. They broke a solar lamp and sprinklers,stole a shovel. We would like them investigated and a refund of $1000. We had to finish the erosion with sod ourselves this weekend with a sod purchase of our own.

They were not exactly what we needed and did not perform well.

After some initial miscommunications about timing (he says he may not be fast, but he's good), I must say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the work that Southern Lawn Landscape & Irrigation, Inc., did. The quality of the job this company did made it worth the wait. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

The time-frame involved was very speedy. As a homeowner trying to sell, this was very important to me. The work done was high quality at an affordable price. I would refer Southern Lawn Landscape & Irrigation to everyone.

Initially it was difficult to coordinate the start of the lawn maintenance service. Once they started, they never maintained a regular schedule (due to the amount of rain we had) and left empty drink cans, potato chip bags, and plastic forks in my yard. Furthermore Brian never let me know when to expect someone to cut the grass and he continued to charge me as if he were cutting my grass every week. After the last week of June and he billed my credit card for the month of July, he NEVER showed up again. He would not return my phone calls and refused a registered letter that I sent him explaining why I terminated service. Southern Lawn has a lot to learn about customer service!

Bryan was very helpfull on our project. We are glad we choose him!

Bryan has been extremely courteous. We have had a couple of communication issues regarding when I thought items were to be completed but, I'm sometimes difficult to get a hold of so I'm sure this will work itself out. So far, the work that has been done is very good. Bryan even helped me figure out that I had a leak in my irrigation system. I would recommend Southern Lawn Landscape and Irrigation to anyone.
