"Please do not judge us on this one bad review! There is way more to this story than meets the eye. This job was completed to her satisfaction, well over a month ago, now all of a sudden she leaves a bad review... we explained several times to her that this old farm house would need proper leveling (which she could not afford). The gaps at the top from the board she speaks of, were not sheetrock but a type of panel board. The home was not level, there where gaps in the rooms with the panel board as it could not be cut diffently each day and the home was changing daily. This is an old farm house that was moved here from somewhere else, never leveled properly due to funds, it was leveled by family. The sheetrock was done correctly and sanded correctly then re-sanded as requested because her cousin saw a few spots "she" did not like. we gladly did this for her(customer) then repainted. this was a framed in home, nothing inside, one room had been done partialy by a cousin with panel board. there was a sink and electric done by a cousin. NO running water available. I have pictures of the sheetrock work we did... we where hired to hang remainder of rock board(which was done by the owner),and this did have gaps at the top due to unlevel rooms, which she told us she was putting in baseboards and trim at the top so yes it would be covered .we hung the remainder of her panel board. we brought in sheetrock, mud and tapped, we brought in custom tinted paint (per her choice) and we installed the bathroom plumbing, toilet and sink/ she had a shower but it would not work where she wanted it she needed a corner shower or another wall built, we also hooked up the plumbing for her kitchen sink. with no running water we did advise her there was no way to check anything so told her when she did get a septic installed to check everything again an watch closely for any shifting in house which could lead to leaks in plumbing...we truly went above and beyond for this elder. we are very sad this owner feels this was , however , we did this job a cost to help a senior who stated she had been taken advantage of by another contractor( a friend of the family)....we truly felt bad for her. we lost over 1700.00 on this job BUT felt this was part of giving back and helping the elderly.....we truly wish this client the best BUT do consider this a warning to contractors."
