I would never recommend this company to anyone. From beginning to end our experience with Matthew was a complete nightmare. We initially engaged his company to preserve our deck. During the process he pressure washed the deck to a point where the wood on the deck was splintered. Then when applying the preservative they got stain / preservative all over the vinyl siding of our home. Finally we agreed to allow him to rebuild the deck which cost us more money and took much longer than the time frame he initially promised it would be finished. During the initial construction of the deck he shortened the width of the deck by 9 inches without even discussing the change with us. I finally had to demand that he put the deck width back to its original size. Which took another week for him to come back and put them in the original position. Afterwards we found that he had not removed the original post and concrete from the ground and cut the support post off at the ground and used the remaining post to use to support the deck. We are going to have to hire someone to come out and remove the original concrete and post he put in. When it was done, the end result was terrible. We recently had to have another contractor come out and replace the steps and several other areas of the deck where the work was substandard and unsafe to even walk on. Beyond that he was extremely rude, condescending, unprofessional and insulted and belittled my wife on the phone when she contacted him and asked him to come fix the steps. When I got home that evening she was in tears and extremely upset by the manner in which he spoke to her. I finally had to text him and tell him to never come on our property ever again or I would contact law enforcement.

Courteous and prompt service

I had purchased an older home with huge boxwoods around the porch. They were way overgrown but I just wanted them trimmed not cut down. Matt listened to what I wanted, as opposed to just coming in and doing a butcher job. The job they did allowed me to retain my privacy behind the shrubs but still provide a manicured look. Good listener, reasonable prices and quality work!

Shows up when he says he will - rare these days - gets a good understanding of the project, and quotes a fair price. I'm sure it could be done for less, and sure it could be done for more. But when they came to do the work, the only time they slowed down is when they had to get more mulch. Thanks, guys!
