I've been using Southlake Pools for over a decade now. Ben, the owner, has always been great to work with and definitely knows all about pools and the equipment. The staff has been great, overall. Whenever I have an issue with equipment, they are prompt to respond, friendly to work with, and typically give me a good price on parts/labor. I've replaced pumps and salt cells, among other things, through Southlake Pools. They also do warranty work on most equipment. I highly recommend this company for all your pool needs.

Donavan cleaned our pool today and he is fabulous! He absolutely scrubbed our hot tub! It was in awful shape! He is out in this unbearable heat on his knees scrubbing his heart out! He went above and beyond! Southlake Pools has been great for us! They are very responsive and have great customer service!

Southlake pools rescheduled the work several times. The work that was completed wasn't completed to what was expected, especially for the amount charged.

Response from Company:

Richard, I am sorry that you feel this way and confused at the same time. We did have to reschedule several times for weather, your concern for your dog and strangers, and due to other schedule conflicts. The work that was completed was exactly as we discussed over the phone. When I met both of you last, you both indicated how happy you were with the work that was done and wanted an estimate for additional work. While I was there, you asked me to make adjustments on your equipment and water flow to the spa that was never part of the initial estimate of work and I happily obliged at no charge. The scope of the project from start of the first estimate to the second estimate, after the original work was completed, changed considerably.

Very good service and they stay on top of maintenance issues! Little pricey but worth it. Staff and technicians are always friendly.

They came out on 5/08/2017 to get my pool cleaned after I removed the cover from winter time. The gentleman brushed the sides and vacuumed the bottom. He said someone would come out the next day to clean the filter . The next day someone came out and took the top off the filter and noticed that the plastic grids in the filters was broken and that they punctured the filter fabric. He took pictures, he even though he saw that the filters needed to be replace he took them out and washed them. If visually bad as you took lid off, why were them washed out . They called me and said I needed to replace all the filter grids, I said no due to the fact that I had a warranty on the filters. I told him as soon as the filters were replaced, I would call them to finish up the pool . The person just left the filter in pieces all over the back yard. I called them back and said I wanted them to put it back the way they found the filter originally they found it. I called Ben and asked him why he cleaned the filters knowing full well that they needed replacements. He acknowledged that they knew the filters were bad when they took the filter cover off. Waste of time and money. . When the filters were replace, they came out and I am not sure what they did. I do know that the pool was still full of algae and green water when they left. I was not going to mess with them again so I called another pool service . They came out and my pool is beautiful .

Response from Company:

Don, I am sorry that you feel you had a bad experience with our company. When we took the filter apart, our normal process is to clean all parts and determine the extent of the issues. When we pointed these issues out, you declined the repair as you wanted your home owners warranty to take care of the issue. We came back out at no charge to put the bad parts back together for your home owners warranty to complete the repair. After the repairs were made by your warranty company, you did call us back out but this was several weeks after the project began and a great amount of time had passed without the pool running. When I visited with you at our first meeting, the estimate was for us to have access to the pool for 2 deep cleanings and a filter cleaning. After you filter repair was made, we were only allowed one trip to your pool. The condition of you pool, which I can back up with pictures, could not have been turned around with a single trip. I am frustrated with your experience but feel that it is extremely important to take the entire scope of the issues and time frame into account. Ben Rushing Southlake Pools
