South of the Mountain Pool Care

I am an out of state owner and was looking for a new pool service. Talked to Chris as he was at my property and agreed for him to take over my pool service. after about a month i texted him and called him to see how things were going. Never got a response or a call back so i put a lock on my gate to make sure they were showing up. After about two weeks i realized no one was showing up. very disappointed it took me so long to realize it. I still havent heard anything from them. Steer clear.

Chris did a good job on my pool, but he never came back to continue the service. I called and sent texts, but nothing. He would not respond, but he sure sent me an email on the next day for the $200 payment to clean my pool and the cartridges. Good job, POOR customer service.

I must say Chris was a a total professional and knows his stuff. He has been very responsive (messaging/calling) and is always quick to answer any and all my questions with a vast knowledge and great attitude. We made an appointment and for at specific time and Chris was not only prompt and on time but he also text me to let me know he was on his way. Once here Chris got straight to work and I immediately knew he was the guy for the job. The next day our pool looked and felt fantastic. We are definitely signing up for monthly Service with South of the Mountain Pool Care. My family and I Thank you for such a great service.

Chris was great the one and only time he showed up. Did not return calls or texts after we paid our initial bill. He told us the pool filter needed to be changed every 3 months and at the start of service. He also told us our salt cell was bad. He charged us over $200 for one service and a filter then quoted us over $1k for salt cell. We called our insurance they sent someone to look at the salt cell and it was fine. Hired a new service after no returned calls (I am sure bc we told him we wanted a second opinion on salt cell) and the new service states the filter never needs changed. Total bad ! It was a blessing we did not continue service with Chris. I do not recommend this service.

Chris is very professional and responsible. He has cared for our pool for several years and has always fulfilled our expectations with prompt and conscientious service. We highly recommend him for your pool care.

Chris did a good job for two years and then his quality dropped, he only spent 5 mins at my pool and then he quit coming altogether. He did not answer numerous calls, emails and texts. It was so strange. We had a great relationship and then he stopped coming and never said anything. To top it off, he sent me a bill. The way I figure it, he owes me $40, Stopped in the middle of the month. Very strange...

They got back to me quickly and scheduled my appointment soon after. He also looked over our system, and made recommendations to make the pool function better and easier to maintain. HomeAdvisor is better than everything I got from Angie’s list.

Chris was great! Came out when the pool was at its worse and filters were horrible and he turned it all around and made the pool usable again. Would recommend him for your pool guy!

Chris is great! He is always quick to respond even when we call to just turn the heater on. He is just great to work with!

The owner Chris arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and professional. He is a good listener and was also sympathetic to our concerns and pointed out several issues and remedies. He gave my husband and I that warm fuzzy feeling that was lacking from our previous pool maintenance company. We’re looking forward to having him service and maintaining our pool from this point forward.
