Fair prices, but decided not to repair

Mr. Fulk charged me 15% restocking fee for an order canceled the next day. The total order was $700. That is over $100. I have checked with a few Spa parts companies and they either don't charge to cancel an order within a week or at the most 3%. This is Outrageous! Beware! Fulk came to my home on 9/10 to find a leak but he told me both my pumps were bad, my heater and blower also. When I filled the Spa with water both pumps worked the heater and blower worked just fine. We had an appointment for 9/24 but he refused to show me evidence that the company charges 15% restocking fees and he canceled the appointment on 9/24. Do not pay for parts up front because he will charge you 15% restocking fee if you cancel. This is truly an overcharge and I have no way of getting my money back. He ordered new equipment before locating leak. Charged me a restocking fee without showing evidence he ordered parts. I called Thermo Spa and they told me Not to order parts before finding leak. I called him within two days to cancel the order but his appointment was until two weeks later. I asked for the receipt/order to verify date of order but he refused to show it to me and he canceled our upcoming appointment. He has charged me a restocking fee and did not order any parts knowing he had two weeks until appointment.

Great company to work with. The technician was awesome, and didn't mind answering questions or being pestered with questions while performing the repair. Awesome experience; will definitely use again.

The job was done and done well. Bought a new house with an existing hot tub and the tub needed an initial service and cleaning to make sure all was working properly. Only surprise was the travel cost which I was no aware of when the price was quoted. It was over $125 which was a little bit of a shock. Total bill was $360. Make sure you understand what they are quoting as I would have probably gone with someone closer if I had known.
