Hired Cary to replace a pump of my hot tub. He gave me a price after seeing the hot tub location, I agreed to the price and sent a deposit to order pump. After a month and a half, he came to install the pump. Right from the get go, he was complaining about the way tub was installed on the deck, whoever had installed did not think through etc etc. He and his assistant replaced the pump, but he asked for more money than we had agreed upon. Since, it was a hot summer day I gave additional money as he asked for - everything in cash. He left when the tub was half filled and asked me to close the water when the tub is full. Afterwards, I discovered that he didn?t install a corner panel of the tub, so the interior is exposed ( see pictures). I texted him about that, he responded after a couple of follow ups that he will come and fix it. It?s almost 2 months, he has not come. This is even after paying him extra money than agreed upon.

""One star" Your review should have been 10 stars. At first I didn't even what to do it as I told you but you could not find anybody else. The unit had 3 sides 10 feet off the ground and buried halfway in the deck show a pic of that. I had to pay another person to assist be cause it turned into a 2 man job working one on a latter and and one underneath. It took at least 2 extra hours in 100 degree heat because you had to have it now. The tub is over 20 years old sides were decrepit and rotting and did I mention 10 feet in the air and working on a edge. luckily we figured out how to replace the motor. what I charged extra wasn't close to covering my costs I was just happy to get out of there without injury."

Cary is very experienced and very friendly and provide reasonable estimates. He fixed one of my jacuzzi jet and it stopped leaking completely. He is very professional and I would highly recommend him for any plumbing project.

I'm baffled and bamboozled. Spent $475 and i'm in no better position than i was before he did the work. He raised his price after the work was completed. Found out after the fact he installed the wrong motor and the pressure is a joke. He hides behind "that things from Canada" as to why he messed up. If you only work on American products you should say that. If you can't fix something, you should say that. If this is what i was going to get i would have just let it be a soaker tub. Cary's a decent enough fellow but completely unprofessional and seems to like to "wing" it. Well he "winged" it with my $475 and i got a lesson learned. I don't know how he has so many good reviews on here. I'm sure he COULD do a good job, he just doesn't seem to want to be bothered with that level of effort.

"What, this is crazy I went on a sat all the way into the city because you needed your leaky tub fixed "now" because your moving out the next week. Installed a 1 hp motor which is more powerful then pumps in unit. Also had the access panel on the wrong side with made it very challenging. Only charged you $50 dollars more for the extra work needed to be done. Filled unit and showed you no leaking and the performance which was more then before. Your unit has a button for water force adjustment that you must be using incorrectly because we both agreed everything was good. Bottom line no more leaking installed a better pump at a great price. You should be thanking your lucky stars. I guess some people?"

Repaired a 40 year old jetted tub. Immediately knew what the issue was over the phone just by my description. Motor was difficult to access, but Cary got the tub running even better than before. He showed me how to make jets more powerful which I had never known. Very reasonable for the work that was done and knows his business. Highly recommend!

Cary spent a lot of time diagnosing our "inherited" hot tob circa 1990 that came with our new home, helping reset the control panel, replace the light and showing us how to use and maintain. He was professional and responsive by text, payment was easy and the cost was appropriate for the service. He came back to our home free of charge to fix an error with the light install that caused a leak, and now our hot tub works beautifully.
