I needed tile installed in my kitchen, which was completely empty and ripped down to the subfloor. The tile needed to transition nicely between pre-finished hardwood flooring in two sides and be as level and smooth as possible. Echoing another reviewer, he overstated his ability and his service agreement. Some of the tiles are very uneven and the grout is cracking and pin holing. He said a few times, â I stand behind my work so if anything goes wrong give me a call.â Donâ t listen to him. He is lying. He will ghost you. Iâ ve sent him numerous texts with photos showing the issues with zero responses. He also took a bag of thinset I personally paid for without leaving money for it. I texted him several times and he only started responding after I threatened legal action since he basically stole from me. Do not hire Spagnolo Tile. You will be taken advantage of.

We hired Mike to install a completely marble tile bathroom and to be frank everything he installed was done incorrectly. While we are trying to salvage the floor we literally had to rip out a shower that he partially completed because the manufacturer stated it did not meet industry standards. I would not hire Mike again as he overstated his ability and either did not know how to do the work or chose to take shortcuts. We had to buy the tile again and hire a second contractor to do it over. I trusted him and it cost me thousands of dollars. Some examples if you are interested: - mortar not troweled correctly, large voids under all tiles, able to pull them off walls with bare hands - exposed wood in niches -waterproofing not done properly - used sponge to apply Mapei ci crack membrane and Redgard in the shower, neither reaches requires mil thickness - shower floor has a low spot below the drain where water will pool - installed the main floor first then proceeded to drag buckets and pieces of equipment across marble and scratched it while doing shower - used spin doctor on marble without natural stone guards that are part of spin doctor system so circle scratches all over - claims 30 years experience with marble- but said marble is the hardest stone and nothing can scratch it- please google this and talk to your supplier if you do not know about marble - said Goboard and Durock are the same. They are not!

I absolutely love the outcome of this home improvement. This has been a great experience with this company. Very professional, and reliable. Definitely recommend Spagnolo tile.

Mike and his team exceeded any expectation I originally had visualized for my bathroom. From day one up to the day of completion, they were very professional, precise and knowledgeable in the work being performed. The job was completed in a timely matter at a very reasonable price. He had the plumbers move my washer and dryer back before the tiles settled. The tiles are uneven now and his explanation was because we moved the washer and dryer back. UNPROFESSIONAL for as much money as I paid, the job was not satisfactory.

Very professional and polite Mike and his team were. They were very careful around my new kitchen cabinets and appliances. They cleaned up extremely well. Everyone commented on the beauty and workmanship of the subway wall tile. My house sold way above asking price, I give Mike and his crew some credit for this! Thank you!

I hired Michael for tile work, the work was done, they left the basement a complete mess, did not cover anything, cut all the tile in the basement, there is white powder all over, and parked on my new driveway oil dripped on it, I talked to Michael about the driveway and he told me he would come back when the weather warms up, totally unacceptable

He did a great job. He does have a problem with time management (ie) arriving when he says he will. Otherwise he did a great job.

Extremely, extremely professional, hard-working and very polite. Drop cloths and shoes off without even asking. Properly dressed and very well-spoken. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

I dealt with Michael Spagnolo through the entire process of getting our kitchen backsplash and tub enclosure tiled for our home. Michael was always professional, reliable and very easy to reach if I needed to speak with him. The job was done long distance and he communicated with me and sent me pictures of the work and the progress. He also was able to help with other miscellaneous jobs that we needed repaired as well. He has over 30 years of experience and family history as a tile contractor and has grown up learning to tile first hand from his family. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to tile and his experience shows in the work. He manages a team of Tile layers and I can tell they respected him as well. Being able to trust a contractor from long distance was crucial for our job and Michael never let me down. When I did not like the way some of the tile was layed (trim, minor) I ask that it be fixed and there was no problem at all in getting it corrected. I would use his company again. His company was reliable, dependable and the job was done very well.

We were so impressed by Spagnolo Tile - give 5 stars. They were on time, on budget, fast, clean and did a beautiful job on the tile install. After a really bad experience with a previous contractor, we were so appreciative of the commitment to quality from Mike and his team. We would highly recommend them a million times!

Mike was very responsive to my initial inquiry. He came immediately to repair our caulk in the kitchen and bathrooms. His work is of the highest quality. He was very respectful of our house by removing his shoes without being asked to do so, working well independently, and cleaning up well when he finished.He voluntarily left caulk for touch ups. Mike is polite and personable. I recommend him highly.

I had an immacualate finished project and it was as if the tile fairy snuck in during the night while I was sleeping and left the best tilework I've ever had under my pillow. Mike completed a job for my parents at their house and I have to say he is nothing short of an amazing Tile mechanic. He did and absolutely perfect job, from the floor tile, the baseboard, the wall tile, and the grout job. My family was thoroughly impressed and we were so happy with the job he completed. Very poor quality work. Dishonest owner. Far from a professional. Let project unfinished and in need of redoing some of the work. Damaged the bathtub. Threw leftover grout and other trash on my front yard. Photographic proof available for anyone to see. Spent substantial amount of money fixing and finishing my bathroom. The company have not provided a receipt for the money paid to him after a whole month and repeated requests through HomeAdvisor. Looks like they specialize in ripping off retired senior citizens.

Mike and his crew were awesome, couldn’t be happier, if I have another tile project , I wouldn’t think twice about calling them, II would recommend these guys without hesitation!
