Run fast if Trevor comes. I paid $675 to have door bell camera installed. I does not work with my phone. He promised to fix it. He said that he had experience installing this type of device, but it was obvious he had never done it before. Run Fast!

An excellent electrician. He was on time and worked efficiently. I had a difficult problem, in an older home in Oakland hills, and he discovered it and fixed it, along with a few other things he saw along the way. I would recommend this company to anyone having an electrical problem.

This company, especially the owner Trevor is a con artist. Took him more than 4 hours to fix a simple electrical problem. If I did not tell him that I get some body to check on this problem, it might take him 12 hours to fix it.

"When I arrived at the house the recessed can lights in the living room and entry hall were not working. I asked which switch controlled which light. Herminio did not know. Therefore I had to troubleshoot the can lights without cutting open the ceiling to gain access to the wires. He could have cut my time in half had he known about the switches. I was able to determine that the problem was inside the fixtures from years of training and experience. Further evidence came when putting the can light back together that the vibration on the ceiling made the lights come on, telling me there is definitely a loose wire. He didn?t want me to fix it."

He was smart professional fast and funny. He is such a great person and very knowledgeable about many things. This guy was really good and knew his stuff. The problem was I came in way over budget on the project. I thought he was a bit too high in pricing I needed the job done so I used him. I will use him again if my normal guy is not able to do the work. Good work and paid for it!

I would highly recommend Spark Smith Electric. Trevor. Smith completed the job in a professional, timely manner. He had to replace the recessed down lights in my kitchen and needed to assess the wiring in the crawl space. He also had to trouble-shoot the outlet for the microwave oven. He did a great job!

Trevor was responsive. He was late but contacted us to let us know. We scheduled a consultation and he was able to get to work that same day. Pricey and not completely upfront about fees - he charged an extra 20% for ?overhead? which he didn't tell us about initially. But electricians are hard to come by (we had two no shows prior) so I guess they can charge whatever they want.

Trevor was very nice, and squeezed us in at the end of a work day. However, he arrived after 7 PM when he said he would come at 5-6 PM to troubleshoot a ceiling fan and light with a remote that had stopped working. After 1-1/4 hour, he was unable to fix the problem, saying that we could try taking the whole apparatus back to home depot and see if we could get an exchange. He charged for the full hour and a quarter plus the $45 Home Advisor fee. He could have at least taken the quarter hour off of the total, which was about $175.

"Wow. I came over after hours to help you out and I verified that the switch was working and that you had power going to the fan. I charged you for 1 hour @$125 per hour plus the fee I have to pay home advisor which is fair. I did not charge you for the extra 15 minutes. I also did not charge you extra for coming over after hours. I am an electrician not the Maytag repairman. I did my best to troubleshoot your device and gave you my expert advice. I am sorry things did not go as you hoped and I do wish you the best of luck in finding a solution to your project. If you would like me to come install a new fan I will take 15% off the project. I believe"
