Post Construction - Clean-up
Specialty Construction Services was contracted to build a custom home and install a septic system for us. They prepped a foundation and plumbing and poured concrete before receiving engineered plans resulting in many plumbing pipes in the wrong location and missing electrical causing a need to modify the plan to make it work. The septic backed up almost right away due to improper pipe slope and an additional pipe came apart at a glue joint requiring an additional emergency repair. There has been issues with water leaks from roof penetrations as well as ongoing leaking where exterior wall to meets concrete due to improper sealing techniques. They have switched to having an additional contractor that is supposed to come repair the issues but after months we still have water leaking in and sealing issues

Building Site - Preparation and Clearing
Do NOT hire SCS! Adam Neimala does TERRIBLE work. Will not respond to calls to fix his mistakes. Will make you pull permit as the general to avoid liability. We have drainage issues galore and a leaky drain field. Left his 5 gallon bucket and a rag. Took all of our black dirt and left a mixture of junk clumpy clay rocks. The only thing worse than his workmanship is his character and overall disposition.

The quality of materials and amount of materials furnished and installed on my driveway apron was a perfect price. The estimator was spot on, never charged a dollar more than the estimate. I now have a beautiful asphalt apron and can get my walker in and out of the garage easily.
