A deposit of 1/3 was made in August 2020, the job was never done. For the past 2 years, I have tried to be reimbursed for that money. In Nov 2021 I went to small claims court, Darrin did not attend, so I won a judgment plus interest for the deposit. I have been sending a monthly statement to Spectrum Lawncare LLC, since. Since Nov he has ignored the judgment of the court and my repeated requests for payment.

Spectrum Lawn Care does a good job. They are reliable, professional, and provide decent value. They bill via email on a monthly basis which is more convenient than having to pay in person. I would definitely recommend their service to others.

I contracted with Spectrum in early April. They have never once come to cut. Even after several texts, no appearance.

I have gotten good overall service from them.

Working with Darryl, the owner, was great. However, the young crew who cut the grass was another story. They left my gate open three times and I was out at 3am hunting dogs. I asked repeatedly for a notification of when they would be coming and rarely received one. Darryl promised that he would be the only one to cut the grass but that didn’t happen. The final straw was they came out after a heavy rain and my yard looked like a demolition derby track.

I would not recommend this business to ANYONE! The one good thing I can say is that when the mowers came they did a fine job (for a few weeks) -First, we signed an agreement that they would mow my grass weekly and eventually might change it to every other week.They came every week in May but not June and in July came once, August-came once after I called.(I know this because I wrote it on my calendar.) I called frequently but did not hear from anyone (although Darren said he called but there was no evidence of this on my phone) or Darren would say they would come out but they never showed. 2- I was supposed to be billed monthly but only received one bill early June. In late August I called and requested a bill but I didn't get it. It wasn't until I started sending Darren a daily text that I finally received an invoice. 3- When I first spoke to them (in May) I was told that they would also be able to do additional landscaping/trimming jobs etc for additional costs. That was one of the reasons I went with this company. This never happened and I had to hire workers from another company. I called several times and they even took pix of what I needed but Darren never called/texted/emailed to make arrangements. (I will also add that I spoke to the mowers and asked them to please speak to Darren about this issue. I was told that this was a common problem and I was not the only person experiencing this) There are lots of good companies out there that will maintain your lawn- this is NOT one of them.

Spectrum does a good job cutting grass. My review is based on their spring clean up service that's offered and is way above average cost for this type of work. They seemed very professional during our initial discussions about what services they offer and is the reason I decided to go with them. I don't mind paying a little more for superior service. Man oh man was I so wrong about them being professional. My spring clean up has yet to be completed and it's now May 31st. Target date was early April but due to weather it caused some delays which was understandable. Had to contact Spectrum weekly to find out when they'd be out, was only told what I wanted to hear, in the later part of May I decided to cancel this service and find someone else, next day spectrum arrived to start working. They sent some kids out that did an okay job but will require some redoing but they did get about 60% of the work complete, said they'd return tomorrow, left a yard & 1/2 to 2 yards of mulch in my driveway blocking easy access to our garage. Also left many piles of weeds pulled and bushes that were trimmed laying around in piles that I had to pick up as they didn't return. It's been 2 weeks and Spectrum hasn't returned, had to contact Darren multiple times only to get blown off with excuses of why they couldn't return. Still waiting for them to finish a very simple job. I truly believe Spectrum is very capable of doing quality work but in my opinion they are taking on more business then they can handle which causes situations like I'm experiencing. There's no reason for this, if your unable to do the work be professional enough to communicate this and let people know rather than continuously putting them off.

The gentleman on the phone was very professional and courteous. There was a spot or two in the yard that were missed however, I will note that the grass was very high and was being mowed for the first time this year. There was also a tough hill in the back that didn't get completely cut. It is a little bit of a difficult judgment to determine just exactly what is to be mowed on that hill though. Overall, Spectrum handled our needs well and we'll see how it goes with future appointments.

Showed on time. The grass was cut but not caught or raked, weed whacked not edged and left ruts in backyard.

One problem. Darren said our yard would need mowing every 2 weeks. It's been 1 1/2 weeks and our grass is way too tall. I would like for them to come every week if he can fit it into his schedule. They do good work.

Actually, Darran was early! I asked for the work to be done on Friday at 8 a.m. and he came Wednesday and did the work about 12:30 p.m.
