Very professional and clean! They did a good job with adding drains and concrete in our basement and backyard. They left the place cleaner than they found it. Would recommend!

I hired Shaun to Sheetrock and paint a small bathroom ceiling that had one small area that was damaged. I was going to do just the damaged area but he advised to do the entire ceiling. I agreed to this. It is a rental property, so I was not on the premises. Midway through the work he said his worker plastered over part of the wall that was damaged and said now I have to paint the walls. Of course he was going to charge me for this. I said, this was not in our agreement and you should have asked me first. He said he was doing me a favor. This is not a favor. It is a favor when there is no extra charge. Contractors cannot take the liberty of doing what they want. He said then he can remove the plaster he put on, but I didnt think he could do it without messing up the wall, so I had to go along with it. Had we discussed the wall from the beginning , I could have made an informed decision. I did not appreciate him getting upset with me. He was totally wrong. The wall looked okay, so I decided to go along and pay for the painting also to avoid the mess of them removing. He then asked me to give him a five rating. Are you kidding? Then he said he rates the customers. Who cares? I am not worried. I am tired of contractors taking advantage and think they can get away with these sort of business tricks to make more money.

"This lady is very cheap alot of Contracter not completing there jobs in her rentals property because she is very much cheap and try to play with contractors. First she made Contract and then she ask for extra work with out paying more money if anyone denies she cancel contracts and hire someone else. That's what I found from her Tenant and neighbor. I have completed my work very honestly and I never charge extra with out reason. If anyone had doubts they can read other customers reviews."

I met with a few contractors before deciding to work with Shaun on my bathroom remodel. He is extremely communicative and professional. He gave a good price and the quality of work is excellent. His workers were great to work with as well. They always showed up on time, and gladly came back to finish up the small details. I will highly recommend Shaun and his company Speedway to friends and family.

I am a contractor, I hired Shaun to plaster and we agreed on a price and Shaun said that it would take 2-3 days and I pd. him a deposit of $1200, they worked 2 days and I told him he needed more people is he was going to finish on the agreed date, after 3 days he said that he needed more money, so I gave him a $200 for a tip plus each of the guys a $50 tip plus $1000 in pay and they said that they would get the job done, on day four I called him so I called him and he said that since I gave them a tip they are drinking so I asked for my money back and also said that I was going to leave a rating, Shaun said that he did not care and he also said that I am not a god the most surprising thing for me is he gets his people off of the street to do the work, so disappointing,

Shaun is courteous, professional, and does excellent work. He installed a fence in our backyard in half a day and the results were to our specifications. We plan to work with him again for fencing our side yard.

Speedway Construction was difficult to work with. They didn't respond quickly to calls or texts, changed the date/time several times, and when they did respond, they didn't answer the questions we asked. When they finally did come, they didn't have the needed materials (despite the fact that we sent pictures of the job), and we had to provide screws and drop clothes for a patch and paint job. They also didn't have a receipt for payment and promised an email receipt which we still have not received, despite paying them in full. The work was fine - not fantastic, but it wasn't terrible. We have another job that we were hoping to to do with them, but will be looking for another contractor.

"i have prove of email that i send them receipt for work.i describe scope of work. it was small patch in her living room and i gave her better price which is 100% cheaper then other contractor. its was $300 only and i spend around 4 hours to fix that patches and paint. i also have proof of txt massages that i ask them before go there for work that if you have leader and necessary things so i will not bring that stuff. and she txt me that we will provide every thing pain and etc.once i reach at home her friend was in very high attitude. she never spoke nicely she don't have any respect for workers.and that all comments written by her friend. because she said to me that i don't like you your work is good but i don't like you. she took personally. i have done a lot of big jobs in Brooklyn. but i never saw lady which is unpredictable."
