Spencer for Hire

We hired Mr. Spencer to demolish our chimney for part of a renovation project. He came out to take a look and got us a quote that was very reasonable so we signed the agreement. Our chimney was down and the project was completed as promised less than a week later. I am planning on hiring him again for some future projects and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will get your project done quickly and professionally for a good price.

We considered Mr. Spencer as a friend. As friends of faith, we allowed him to do the project. BIG mistake. The work was sloppy, unorganized, and he did not follow the city zoning rules in reference to permits,  concrete pour, sidewalks, and ignored rules of inspection. If he really was a licensed contractor, then the license needs to be revoked until he learns the rules and does the job professionally. The city inspectors were overwhelmed with the entire job...#1 because the job was a mess. #2 Mr. Spencer did not inform the city about pouring concrete or inspection. There was a lot of things the city pointed out that needs to be done over. Mr. Spencer and workers made trenches in our yard and instead of using dirt to fill in the trenches, they used bales of straw and bits of mud. Consumers please be aware and do your homework BEFORE hiring Spencer for Hire.

Professional, on time and great cleanup.

Spencer demolished a mobile home for me. The crew worked very hard, and the owner was on site almost the entire time. They cleaned up very well, and they were pleasant to work with. The value was very good, and I would definitely utilize Spencer for Hire again.
