Spray Foam Insulation of North Carolina was quick to respond to my initial inquires and they were quick to provide me a quote. I have a 30' x 40' x 12' high metal building sprayed with closed cell foam 2" thick. So far, it seems pretty good. Before (in month of March cold to cool temps) the metal siding would be hot after the sun would shine on it and now it is not. The vast inside building temperatures swings have been greatly reduced. I will have to wait until this summer to see how it handles summer temps and humidity. I plan on having a dehumidifier and window A/C to help maintain temps/humidity during the summer. The only negative thing is that they drop sheet metal screw all over the place. I'm surprised that I haven't gotten a flat tire yet, but other than that all was good.

I contacted 6 other contractors to foam insulate a home addition that I am building. One gave me a price and then later told me he couldn't do it and gave my name to another contractor I had not interviewed and this contractor wanted to charge more. Another sent out a man who knew nothing about insulation and this rep told me only that he used to install pools had no tapes, etc.. James Ivey came out and it was clear that he knew his business. He measured up the work, gave me a fair price and completed the work and provided the data sheets for inspection. Work was done professionally, on time and no problem with inspection. After dealing with many other contractors, I can save you some time. Hire James and his company. He knows what he is doing. Passed inspection and MY inspection in a breeze.

Excellent job. Everything done and cleaned up excellent. Even painted the foam for us.

They had to return to complete the job to quoted specs, but the owner came back the next morning and finished the job an employee had left below specs.

When I had initially scheduled this company for spray foam installation, I had waited thirty minutes before calling them to find out where they were. It was at that point that the owner got the call that their truck had broken down. The second time, they arrived thirty minutes late. I had asked how long it would take for them to finish working on the attic so that I could bring my daughter and dogs back home. They told me 2-3 hours, 4 hours later I just came back home at which point they told me that they had gone to lunch. That means that they left my house unattended, unlocked and open.

I worked with the brother. The crew came in and the job was done in the time they needed. Apparently they hada commercial job to go to and the job they did here was rushed. The first day the equipment failed. They left came the next day and rushed inorder to finish for the nextjob the next day. I had thn and missedareas, foam on new light cans an foam inside wired unfinished recepticles. I called the brother i originally got the call from not theonewho did the work. He called and said his brother who did the work would fixit. Well, he came that Sunday, and cleaned fix some of it. He left within an hour and did not know until I saw him leave.

I had rock wool insulation blown into my walls from the attic. They had to drill holes each wall's top plate and work around all of the rafters. the job ended up using more insulation that they thought, but they didn't charge me any different from their original estimate.

These guys came in when the said they would, did the job and cleaned up, and were the best price of 4 bidders!
