I hired him and came here did a good job and seems like a nice guy. He said he will come back after my door frame's installation to finish the job. It's been for 3 months but did not come back. He sent an email saying he'll com back labor day this year but didn't. Been trying to message/call him but got no response.

We worked with multiple teams with Square 1 Home Improvement Solutions. Both roofers and painters were extremely professional and spent a good amount of time prepping each project before beginning. They were precise with a good amount of attention to detail. Jason Gordon was great at communicating with us and was always available to answer questions. We won't hesitate to use Square 1 for future projects! We highly recommend Jason and his crews!

Very happy with how my 3 family house came out! I wasn’t sure how the asbestos siding was going to look after being painted and the square 1 crew killed it! Highly recommend.

Jason was responsive and did the job at very reasonable cost and in less time than he originally thought he’d need. Very happy with the final product and we’ll def call him again for future needs.

We needed 300 square feet of parquet in living room and 200 square feet of oak flooring in bedroom refinished before new tenants arrived. They were last refinished 15 years ago and other than scratches and dull finish, they were in good condition. We sent Jason pictures of the rooms and indicated we need 4 coats of water-based polyurethane since there will be a newborn (do not want fumes and want the finish to last). He provided a prompt estimate at a good price and was able to meet our timeline (needed within 2 weeks). When the new tenants requested to move in a day early, I contacted Jason and he ensured the floors will be ready and dry in time. The floors in the empty house were done on Tuesday & Wednesday and were ready for the new tenants on Thursday. They cleaned up the dust from the surfaces and sent me pictures of the floors after they put on the last coat of polyurethane. The floors glisten with the new finish. They left the floor grates for the heating system in the rooms for me to pop back in since the finish needed drying before reinstallation. It took me about 5 minutes to put them all back in. We are pleased with the work from Square 1 and recommend that you consider them for floor refinishing.

Jason was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He responded to our request quickly and was able to assess the job within a matter of two days of my phone call. We were in a real time crunch with our move and he went above and beyond to get it done for us quickly and the floors look beautiful we couldn’t be happier!

In late February, I had plans for a vinyl floor to be installed at my new condo. When the installers arrived, they told me they were unable to complete the job because the floors weren’t level. I immediately had to start looking for someone who could help me level my floors, and who could do so quickly, so that my move to my condo wouldn’t be delayed. I am so glad that Angi connected me with Square 1. When I explained my situation, they made sure to accommodate my request quickly, and were communicative every step of the way. My job involved a lot of tile removal, subfloor repair, and the installation of the new vinyl floors. Everything came out beautifully — so beautifully, in fact, that I immediately recommended my mother work with them for her vinyl installation, which is currently ongoing. She was also very impressed after meeting with them! I will be recommending Square 1 to everyone I know who has flooring needs, as they are truly great at what they do.

The before image I had in my mind was completely transformed--Jason and crew did an amazing job . He took his time with great detail and skill; many tools came in and out of the house, and the result was straight, clean, level, and professional, quality flooring . I'm sure anyone considering his employ would not be disappointed . First-rate job from sales to accommodating us with timing and wonderful job installing .

We have pretty uneven floors in the two rooms we had the flooring put in and the installers were able to come up with a solution that allowed the floors to be installed without removing and replacing the subfloor. We hardly use those rooms so we didn't want to invest what some of the other companies were quoting.

Jason and his team were fantastic. He came out to review the project and provided an estimate within 48 hours. The job was scheduled within two weeks of accepting the estimate and making a deposit. The team showed up on time and we walked through everything again to ensure that they had the correct information. They finished the job in 2 1/2 days, cleaned up after themselves, and did a wonderful job. The floor and windows look amazing. If you are looking for high-quality work and dependability at a fair price, I would highly recommend Square 1.
