Metal Roofing Installation and Replacement
Had a contract for a new metal roof and put up one gutter on the front of the house. Metal roof was done fine. Had to call them back to fix some issues, but they were fixed. The gutter is the problem. Not seamless. Pieced together. Leaked from day one at the seams. They have caulked twice and promised to put up a seamless gutter. It has taken 10 months of me prodding to get anything done and now it's been 6 months after a promise of a new seamless gutter and Jason won't call me back. I've texted and left multiple voicemails. No response. When he did respond 3 months ago he said he'd been in a car wreck and someone else was supposed to be taking care of me. He told me to give him a few days and he would call me. Two months now and I tried to call the office phone. Disconnected. Tried to email. Email has been removed from server. Texted and left voicemails. No response. I hope he's not dead. If he's still alive then the business is defunct and no one will get anything fixed from here on out. I kept all records of communication for something to fall back on.

we had to hire langley roofing to fix our roof after squirrel did a bad job installing it.they will not return our phone call after trying to contact them many times.In fact we asked home advisor to call them for us.Same result we got.Would not return their call either.We paid over 5600.00$.IT IS COSTING US 1350.00 TO FIX THEIR MESS.Several home inspectors have said it was improperly installed .I have a copy of one of those reports that details the problems with the roof.The roof is still under warrenty,but the warrenty is no good if squirrel roofing will not fix it.We feel like they stole from us .

"We were never contacted about any problems on this roof. The customer called and left a message that he had additional work that he wanted done, and this was more than a year after the roof was installed. We were very busy at the time, and couldnt get to the work, so a representative left a message letting them know that they should look elsewhere. We never heard back about a leak or anything like that from our installation, or anything for that matter. We found out, that another roofer said it was installed wrong, by the comment left in here by the customer.. There are different ways to install metal roof systems. We install them on over 200"

I had Squirrell Roofing do a commercial and residential roof. Still after a year and promises to fix it, we go to court this month. I have pictures of the job they did that I will post later.

"Yes we went to court about this, however in our warranty it states that the customer should call and also follow up with a letter stating their problems in writing. We were called once, never written, and we went out with in 24 hours as promised. We tried to find a leak, but we're unable to, so we resealed all penetrations and left. We didn't hear back from the customer for months. Then we get a call about leaks everywhere, and told we were going to court. This is why we always do a contract on all jobs. We are very sorry that this happened to the customer, but Squirrel Roofing would have been there if we knew it was leaking."

I contacted Squirrel Roofing through home advisor and met Jason who was very respectful and explained in detail of all my concerns for my roof that the storm had damaged. He even brought a tarp right away to protect my roof. What touched our family is that he is a Christian man with values. He has patience and cares for all your concerns ! I contacted Jason by way of home advisor and would highly recommend Squirrel Roofing. We had a lot of rain in the area, but Jason kept in contact to assure me that he would work on my project as soon as the weather allowed. In spite of the weather, the work was done in a timely manner. My repaired roof looks excellent and I am very satisfied. Job well done! Jason and his crew were very easy to work with.

I contacted Jason via the home advisor website and he returned my call that even though he was dealing with the death if his mother. He was curtious and returned calls in a timely manner. They did the work on the day that was promised with only a couple of issues. He returned as he said he would and finished the project. I would recommend him for another job anytime. As a matter of fact, I am going to get him to come and put metal on the garage in a few months. Great Contractor.

What a mistake! In June of 2016 he gave us a quote for gutter repair and replacement of a skylight. Ramey sent two guys from his crew as a "side job" for them (he told me later) but I paid HIM $1960. The skylight leaked in three places the first time it rained. I tried to get him to come out and fix it but after I left four or five messages he said he would come out and then never returned my calls after that, and will still not answer the phone or return my calls to this day, 1/23/17. I had to pay another roofing company $500 to come and repair the skylight, which had been installed with no flashing and using caulk! Plus, they left old rusty gutters on the property and did not install the gutter covers correctly. I have a copy of the receipt from Ramey, the receipt from the other roofer, and pictures the other roofer took of the careless, unprofessional installation they did of the skylight. He does not care about the quality of the work and does not stand behind it. I thought maybe he was out of business but some reviews here were written after he botched our job.

"This is totally false!!! The customer wanted Squirrel Roofing to do a job for practically nothing. Sorry, but the Squirrel has to eat too, so we can't and dont do jobs that aren't profitable, unless it's for charity. He was given an option to call someone else, or for that price he could find someone to do the work as a side job. He asked if I knew anyone that would be interested, and I gave him a couple of guys numbers. Squirrel roofing did not do any work on this home. He wasn't willing to pay for a professional to do the job. He wanted a handy man, and he must have gotten what he paid for."

Though Mr. Ramey was competitive, he was not the lowest bidder, but I felt more comfortable trusting him and he did not disappoint. In my book, on a scale of 5 stars, Squirrel Roofing rates a 7. Roofers arrived on time, worked diligently and left the property cleaner than they found it. And my new roof is beautiful. I recommend Squirrel Roofing highly.

The professional did a terrible job. I had to hire another professional to do the work properly. The owner was not professional and left trash all over the place. The guys had no idea what they were doing. It was an awful experience.

"This statement by the homeowner is absolutely false! This was his excuse not to pay for the completed job. I have many references to show that this is not how SR does business and would be happy to show them to anyone. Also have pictures as proof. We went back a number of times trying to please the him, and it wasn't possible. The homeowner in this case is being taken to court because he still hasnt paid for his completed roof. We even did a repair for a neighbor, who also bragged on how good the roof looked on the complaining homeowners home. I would hope that no other contractor does work with this homeowner. You will not get paid!"
