They are like all the other home warranty companies. They advertise replacement, however when something goes out they do not replace. Our dishwasher went out and they said we could get replacement price and they would send us a check. We went to Home Depot and gave Stanley Warranty the price and they said they could get it cheaper then our price at Home Depot. We informed them that was where we got our price and they still would only reimburse us for what they said was the same dishwasher we had priced.

Stanley Home Warranty is RIP-OFF. I have them for a year (Policy SO136764) . 1. My thermostat went bad after 4 days of waiting they send a tech who charged to replace it $375, Stanley covered only $250 (go figure why!). My cost was $125 (later i learned that cost of replacement is ~$100 unit is $40 + a labor $60 max

I am completely dissatisfied with this company. I purchased a protection policy over the phone. I repeatedly requested a hard copy of my policy, which just arrived. Upon my first claim, I discovered my Sales rep. sold me a bunch of lies to get my money. We were on the phone for at least 45 mins, I asked detailed questions including possible scenarios. I was informed I had full coverage for all inquired, & no per call fees. The customer reps. are very curt & nasty ! It is extremely hard to reach someone regarding a claim, even if filed online. The only department available 24/7 is SALES dept.

This is the absolute worst company ever. They don't DO anything but take your money. Getting them to answer the phone is an act of God. Forget about emergency service or any service for that matter. I have reported them to the Better Business bureau. Stay away!!!!!!

High prices for contract but they lowered them when I haggled. There is also a 1 month waiting period before contract kicks in.
