Stan's Septic

My leech lines were failing they were backing up into the house I called 4 different companies for estimates stans septic gave me the cheapest estimate. Not only that Stan told me that he would be able to start the job right away and I would be put on the top of his list even though he had other jobs he was working on in paradise. Because he was able to get started right away was the most important thing to me. He told me he would be able to get the license to do the job within 4 or 5 days And then would be able to start the job immediately thereafter. 5 weeks later he still had not got the license giving me excuses that he could not get an Inspector from the county to come out cause they were too busy. I called the county and I found this to be a lie. They said we can usually get out there within 2 days and at the most a week. Finally, after 7 weeks of waiting, he came out with his tractor and dug a hole for the inspector. 2 weeks later after assuming he would start the job right away he told me that he did not have the parts for the job and they were very hard to get at this time. I contacted other septic companies in the area and asked Them if the Parts needed for the job Were e hard to find and they all said **NO** once again another lie from Stan. So after almost 2 months of waiting for something that he said would be done the 1st week I went to another company and hired them. On top of everything else I then found out that Stan never even applied for a permit. The stand should have never committed to a job he did not wanna do or did not have time to do. Unfortunately I could not find any reviews about his job performance So I am posting this to inform others of what they may be getting into. - Tim N. Chico California.
