Star Builders, Inc.

Poor craftsmanship, did not come at scheduled times, workers are not respectful. Wrong products ordered twice, mislead me with the roof repair and the job was done poorly. The materials they used are poor quality. Windows are not functioning properly. No called no show several times. I do not recommend this company to anyone! Beware!

Good job, top notch on siding, walkway step, and dining room drywall projects. Also informed me of possible future projects needed for my attention.

They came out up beat saying they can do everything we need done. Once the work started it went down hill. The project completed 4 months later and things started falling apart 4 months later and forgot to add my broken steps into the estimate. Called to let them know things were falling apart and I got I will let them know and nothing else. So I paid a nice chunk of change and I am now saving up to get the work re-done.

Quick service - work was complete 2 weeks after first contact. Very accommodating to custumer schedules. The work was done exactly as specified with only a few not-quite-straight lines. A little slow to claim boards after cement set. Overall, I am pleased and will call Mr Tapper again if I need cement work.

Very unprofessional and the quality of work was less than desirable.

He was very nice and professional!

Great job, great price Will hire again.

Very good work and clean up....remember to provide lots of cold bottled water and a bathroom for all service people working on your property.

If you miss their calls, they don't leave messages. And they will call at the worst times - 6am, 8pm, not at normal times. They didn't discuss what their intentions for certain trim details, which turned out terrible, and still haven't addressed it (and they're minor to resolve).

Nothing else to say.

Work was done in a timely fashion. And they did everything that was requested.

Great contact. Great work. Enough said. I would recommend them anytime.

Great people to work with. Reasonable prices. We even hired them to do some other work needed. Fred, the owner, is very easy to deal with, and his employees are friendly, well skilled and hard working!

Star Builders provided me with a couple of options for my roof and the pros and cons of each. They were also very accommodating when I needed to shift the work date at the last minute. I was very happy with the service and with the work that was completed.

Very happy with the results. Knowledgable crew. Kept me updated with the schedule when weather came into play.

Star builders was prompt, courteous and reasonable. I am very pleased with the job that they did, and I have received numerous inquiries from my neighbors asking who did the job.

Needed some brick repair done, they quoted and were able to complete the job all in the same.

I would highly recommend Star Builders. The crew, supervised by Fred arrived as planned, completed the work to my satisfaction and even did more than asked to assure satisfaction. These tradesman know their business and can trusted to do affordable, honest work.

good finishing, punctual, good knowledge about the work

It was terrible. The crew was unreliable. Didn't show up half the time. Always had a different excuse. The workmanship was awful. Used wrong nails. Left areas unfinished. There were dents & areas of trim that were uneven. A week after they were supposed to be finished, siding blew off the side of the house. There are nails sticking out in our pantry from them using ones that were too long. Too many prblems to list them all. Update: 10/10/10. Now that a few months have gone by, just noticed a few more pieces of siding at the back of the house are haning off. It will probably never end!!

The guys on the job were overheard by some of the neighbors using profanity and lounging on their step fronts. They thought that to be a little unprofessional. The job upon completion had a visible blemish and after a week they came out to correct it. Also the outcome did not match the hefty price.

Very good work and on time and within budget

Reliable but not yet hired them need to get more info on projesct

fantastic work and great price.

Mr. Tapper has done pointing to my front porch in May and overcharged me number one and also did a terrible job per three contractors that I had come out to give me an estimate to redo the work. I have talked with Mr. Tapper several times and giving him several opportunities to redo the work before I have to take legal action, but he refused to come out and redo the work. He stated, that it is nothing that he can do to fix it. but some spots her and there. He also did siding to my house which I am satisfied with; however, I do need more siding work to be done to the back of my house. I would not trust this Co. to do anything else for me
